If he's injured until mid- February, how would he pass a medical?
A medical isn’t to check if a player is injured. It’s weighing up the risks of signing the player for that length of contract, so more about his injury history and recurring injuries etc. You can technically “pass” a medical with a broken leg
OK, I'll buy that...
But if it's only a loan, why sign someone to put on OUR medical bill, who may never play a game (!), for him to go back, fit and firing for Oxford at the end if the season?
Are we football's new, improved NHS?
If it's true, Oxford have seen us coming, pulled our pants down, and didn't even have the decency to give us a reach around...
He's injured until mid-February, which is at most two weeks away. Calm down.
muggy prick didnt even have the drinks in the fridge
We had 4 loans that window from memory because of the embargo and as well as y'know, Bowyer and Gallen were also in on the ruse, the cheeky feckers.
They were, but tbf they didn't find out we didn't have any money until a couple of days before the close of the window. Otherwise why would you be travelling to players houses to discuss deals!
Tovide would be a Ramsay style signing, L2 and under the radar. 21 and can play up front or on either wing according to FotMob, 5 goals and 5 assists this season in 22 appearances
Tovide from Colchester being mentioned. He’s been linked with a championship move this month.
Interesting. A big strong quick hard working striker who can play on either wing in FM, just what Jones wants in a striker and he’s only 21. Would surely mean Ahadme or Kanu going, even if only on loan. Or Leaburn’s been sold.
I don't think there's anything in it given it's just another Twitter rumour but Tovide is a player I've liked for a year or so now. He's a big strong lad with a bit of pace, though very raw. Feels like one who will either be a gem who can be improved or be a future Bogle.

Wonder if we might be sending DK the other way on loan?
