Just doesnt want to go in for us today does it!!
Said that to the missus last night
Unfortunately she didn't reply as she was asleep and gently snoring
  • Think it’s a very very soft pen. Don’t think the ref looked convinced when he gave it. If you’re not 100% sure then shouldn’t give it.
  • HT 0-1, if ever a scoreline doesn't reflect the play, that is it, no way we deserve to be losing to a dodgy stupid penalty, second half things must improve big time...

Our entire game plan appears to be passing sideways until the opposition are bored to death, then punt it nowhere in particular
Harsh, we have been the better team by a mile
And yet how often have we properly tested them? The one soft shot from TC and the header from Anderson?

"By a mile" is a massive reach
TC had a shot deflected narrowly wide, and there was that Taylor assist that somehow went over the bar instead of finding a Charlton player.
Not an assist if it didn't assist a goal is it.

    It's called a pass
  • Need a few changes, A Campbell looks poor. Got to give Leaburn some time surely? Like the look of Taylor so far.
  • We have been ok, had more chances, made their keeper work more, but I wouldn't say we have played well. A. Campbell been awful. They have been in our box once and won a dodgy penalty. We need to do more. Leaburn on, A. Campbell off at half time please.
  • Poor half overall. Stockport don't look like much imo

  • Unlucky to be a goal down, personally thought the pen was harsh as mannion got the ball at the same time as the man. We have created more than usual but struggling to convert. Allan Campbell has been disappointing I would bring him off for a more creative player like berry. Get Leaburn on too.

No need to be pedantic when its not needed... It doesnt make you look klever
  • cant stand that Gillesphey truly awful footballer, docherty and Anderson horrific, expected so much more from docherty at this level
  • Missing Greg Stubley on comms today to provide a break from Brownie’s over analysis and Tel’s non-stop criticism of the referee.
  • The most depressing thing about that half apart from the score and Ramsey’s injury is we’ve been the better team .
Taylor’s set pieces have been great we just need to put the ball in the back of the net . Doherty has been poor.
I’m looking forward to 45 minutes of Shithousery from Stockport now . At least the sun has gone down and I can see , just a shame Mannion didn’t invest in a cap or switch ends otherwise we could be still level.

does he look any worse then docherty?
  • The little bit I've seen the ref has been fucking awful! I also wish Brownie, who I normally support, would shut up! He sounds more in favour of Stockport than us!

You're right. I really enjoyed Anderson's goal that was saved by the keeper.
  • IF we do score an equiliser Brownie IF!!...no man the word is WHEN, and then a winner, god almighty you are so depressingly negative...

TC is not a centre forward
    Never will be.
    He's a wide player
    It's mental
In the good pld days he would have been an out and out winger.

I'm fed up with Brownie going on and on. Just let me listen to the comentary FFS
Absolutely.  He’s a nightmare.  Can’t understand why we haven’t sacked him off by now

    Sigh!!
  • We are by far the better side, but changes needed - we are rather toothless up front
  • We have been the better team by far and don’t deserve the current scoreline. Taylor been good and surely worth having on the pitch for his dead ball delivery ? We won’t but I would bring Leaburn and Berry on at halftime for TC and AC
  • Time for Dixon and Miles with Godden dropping deep.
  • This is all very “after the Lordmayors show”. Poor game. Crowd don’t seem up for it. Two (now three) of our best players injured and another suspended.  Shows that our strength j. Depth isn’t what we’d hoped.  Difficult to be too critical as we’re clearly the better team but it’s all just a bit “meh”.
  • 12th in the table, still only scored 1 goal all season in the first half.

Thankfully we've scored in every home game so far this season so fingers crossed we keep that run going, but anyone kidding themselves that we've been great today is wide of the mark, it's just other than getting a dubious penalty Stockport have been absolutely shite, so it's not hard to at least look better than them

Both have been very poor. Midfield not working at all - second to the ball, can't tackle and either over hit their passes or go safety first sideways and backwards. Taylor can at least pass it forwards and take a decent corner and free kick.
