Nothing wrong with the endevour and performance, we were let down again by inept officials...

Agreed, Stockport are a good side and we made them look ordinary.
  • FT 1-1,,, never before was so much owed to so many by so few...we deserved 3 points, and but for a crap ref who allowed all sorts of decisions to go their way, we could have, bet the ref assessor has a field day with this guy, def the worse seen at The Valley...
    Thanks Collin

Plus we cannot score enough goals
  • Thank you one and all, only able to dip in and out (poor connection) today, but feel that we really should have won.

And the authorities/refs need to take action on time wasting "injuries".

Well we should’ve won that. Stockport have their goalkeeper to thank for being able to take a point back up north.

Leaburn caused havoc. Dixon almost made the fairy tale start with the trickery and lay off. And TC looked proper dangerous all afternoon for someone who isn’t a striker.

Frustrating that we didn’t win. But all the right signs are there - I feel much more confident that we should be looking up the table rather than down it.

Someone should tell NJ to take a break before post match interviews. Or he’s in danger of paying for the ref’s Christmas doo.

Think we’re still a work in progress
    Could be next season
Feels like we’re almost there but not quite
  • Pretty happy with that, despite not winning we created so many chances and should have won by at least a couple.

We are improving and if Leaburn had been a few games down the line in his match fitness he definitely would have scored the winner.

big shame is Ramsay, hope it’s not as serious as it looked.

    Onwards and upwards.

If only we had a natural goal scorer. Lol
  • It’s also not a surprise we created more chances having someone on the pitch who has a great delivery. One or two shocking ones but on the whole Taylor’s set pieces were quality and we easily could have scored one or more of them.

If Stockport are a decent side we made them look very average which is a great sign. Leaburn looked back to his best when he came on hopefully he is good to start next Saturday! Dixon cameo made him look an exciting prospect. All in all a good performance and very unlucky to not have all 3 points.

Ref should consider whether football is the right game for him

    Stockport reaction on twitter

    “Take that”

“Don’t know how we didn’t lose”

“No idea how we got a point”

Simple answer is they had 12 players on the pitch, one of them in black...
  • All us really. Rue the missed chances, but top notch work rate. We really need Taylor on a regular basis. Someone who can actually stick the ball where it's needed makes such a difference.  Ramsay's injury a concern, but think REG did well stepping in.

Regardless of the result, that second half was edge of your seat stuff, loved it. And a draw today almost certainly means we'll win next Saturday when I make the trek up there right? Right?
