Dan Potts will make his first appearance for Charlton in the league in this afternoon’s trip to Stevenage.
Josh Edwards makes his return to the starting XI after suffering an ankle injury against Leyton Orient in August, while Alex Mitchell, Karoy Anderson, Tyreece Campbell and Matty Godden also start.
Should we start in the 3-5-2 formation used for much of this season then Alex Mitchell and Potts would join Lloyd Jones, wearing the captain’s armband, in a back three in front of Will Mannion.
Kayne Ramsay and Edwards are expected to operate as wing-backs which would leave Conor Coventry, Anderson and Tyreece Campbell in a midfield three behind Daniel Kanu and Godden.
Gassan Ahadme misses today’s clash after suffering a fractured nose.
Ashley Maynard-Brewer, Macaulay Gillesphey, Tennai Watson, Allan Campbell, Luke Berry, Greg Docherty and Chuks Aneke make up the substitutes bench.
Charlton: Mannion; A.Mitchell, Jones, Potts; Ramsay, Coventry, Anderson, T.Campbell, Edwards; Godden, Kanu
Subs: Maynard-Brewer, Gillesphey, Watson, A.Campbell, Berry, Docherty, Aneke

The Addicks are without Gassan Ahadme, who misses today’s clash after suffering a fractured nose.
And welcome back into the back line Mitchell...✅
Not least because the Captain is benched.
Is Ahadme injured or dropped?
Looks to me that we're not going for ariel contests with Piergianni.
Hopefully it's 3 up top.
Liverpool play
From the OS it sounds like the same 5 - 3 - 2 formation with Campbell as the No.10.
Good to see Mitchell and Edwards back but surprised Leaburn isn't at least on the bench; maybe when they said "back in October" they were being literal.
One thing you can't say about NJ is that he's afraid to make changes. Whether they work, as we saw last week, is another matter but perhaps this line up is for this game v this opposition.
