Surely Birmingham should be docked 30 points minimum for this?  :disappointed:

Ratty Jay Stansfield pushing a match official, got to receive a ban surely
Actually I think Stansfield is trying to calm things down and pushes his own player away from the trouble. The official tries to get out of the way of the player stepping backwards.

What ? That's bullshit & I demand a replay. How can Peterborough "WHO?" beat the mighty Brum "Keep right on" Obviously match fixing somewhere here  :o

Yeah I bet they’re right gutted with not winning the most shameless trophy they’ve entered in their footballing history as they are ineligible to enter it next year , poor them

Fair play to Alfie he got the move he wanted, he has changed his families life in terms of his current contract, won something of note which considering where he started is well deserved and will have a crack at the championship. Fair play to the man.

Now we just need to try everything we can to join him there.

Do you think we can get away with playing him off the bench wearing Ahadme's shirt?

Anyone see the Birmingham owners comments after the game they celebrated promotion?

And cheers to you @Callumcafc. You’ve had an extraordinary Charlton Life season, posting mature, insightful posts explaining how you understood NJs plan,  and carried on patiently doing it throughout an increasingly dark autumn while eveyone else including me lost their shit and railed against his treatment of the Golden Boot holder.

You bore the brunt of Lifers’ frustrations, with admirable grace, and  then finally jumped on a plane from frigging Dallas to be there and help get your team over the line.

If there was an award for Lifer of the Year, you’d get my vote. And it was you more than anybody who made me have a massive word with myself nine days ago and get myself iin the air for a flight that takes about as long as the next bit to Abbey Wood

I’m sure you wont be too bothered about being right on CL, you got your  richly deserved reward  for something much more important. Being There!

    Cheers, Callum.

Cheers! As you say, just delighted we won. Already on my train back to Heathrow. 😂

Would be excellent to find an opportunity to meet up some time in the future.

Huddersfield manager Lee Grant doesn’t think he should play Alfie May up front.

They lost 2-1 at home to Bolton last night, Sky Sports app suggests he played as an attacking midfielder behind the main striker in a 4-2-3-1.

May’s scored 2 league goals in 10 starts and 2 sub apps for them so far.

Madness. The bloke has got almost 100 goals in the last 4 seasons playing up front.........so let's not play him up front.

I mean… he did get replaced by Godden as the 9 here and we went from 16th to promoted.

He also wasn’t the first choice #9 at Birmingham for most of last season (often pushed to wings or bench in favour of Stansfield or Dykes) as far as I can remember.

He’s clearly a profilic, natural goalscorer but the only time he’s had 20+ goal seasons at the level has been when he’s part of teams in the bottom half.

Managers pushing for promotion clearly don’t rate his all around game as sufficient enough to justify making him the main man.

All very fair points, but then just have him coming off the bench for Taylor instead. Don't shoehorn him in as an attacking midfielder.

He played as a 10 here a fair amount and actually looked quite good there, it allowed him to arrive late in the box and have decent chances

He didn’t score but Alfie was their best player yesterday. He was getting in good positions and looked dangerous. Huddersfields issue was that the rest of the midfield and defenders lost possession way too easily.  On a separate note Burstow looked really good as well
