  • 8.5 miles away now,but closest I have ever lived near the Valley was for a couple of days in St Nicks hospital when I were born…😁
  • 2.2 miles. Used to cycle as a kid as there were plenty of people who would look after your bike in their front gardens for about thruppence or maybe it was sixpence.
  • About 500 miles by road and boat...

The Proclaimers would need water wings.
Thats just to get out of Fermanagh.
  • Used to be less than 3miles, now about 14 but thanks to traffic can take almost 3-months each way for the journey…
  • My dad lived 1 mile away in Blackheath, now we live 130 miles away in Somerset
  • A walk of 10hrs 32 mins according to Google Maps. Good luck with that.
Malaysia to Charlton in 10 & half hours on foot! You need to be on the track at the next Olympics.

    No-one gets out of Fermanagh...

    (Dry)

The only County in Ireland where there is either no railway line nor, following the recent all-island rail review, any plans to build one (though I will be 6 feet under long before the railway line from Portadown to Derry is reinstated).
