  • The reality is that Zach or Laqeretabua will be able to contribute at least what AC did in his minutes on the pitch.

    Thank fuck
    Waste of space
    Hopefully we get someone better
  • Cheers Alan
  • See ya!
  • Pretty disastrous, but wasn’t comfortable with some of the OTT abuse he got during games.

    Wish him well,

Bit concerned Jones made a point of saying he didn’t want to lose him.
I'd be more concerned if he said he wanted to keep him.
    That’s what he was saying!

  • Given that Allan Campbell hasn't moved to Dundee on a loan, this is one effectively out of our hands - Had he not moved for a permanent fee I imagine Luton would have left him here, otherwise leaving it this late in the window to simply execute a loan recall would be strange timing.
  • Good luck to him. Tried hard, but didn't work out.

Given the context of the entire quote I think it’s more a “I really wanted to this to work but it hasn’t so we’re letting him pursue another opportunity” rather than him having Allan Campbell ripped away from him against his will. He only compliments his work ethic and dedication to training, not how he performed on the field.

"We wish Allan all the best. He's one of the best pros you're ever likely to see in the way he goes about his business - how he trains, what and when he eats, how he prepares. I didn't want him to leave the football club because he's done fantastically well for me, however, I couldn't guarantee him that game time that he needs, craves and works so hard for. We had to do the honourable thing and allow him to move and go back home, because since he's been at Charlton he hasn't been able to distinguish between his arse and his elbow and couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo"

  • looks like we may have some wiggle room to get someone decent in now.

Didn’t old Charlie say there would only be outgoings to slim down the squad, no incomings?
  • Judging by NJ’s interview today, confident we get at least one in the door

I think Jones has said they can recruit if they will add quality.

    No.
  • Another example of how awful the standard of Scottish football is - player that couldn’t even get a regular match for us going to a SPL team. He’ll get more game time at Dundee United too.

Currently 3rd best team in Scotland.
  • Thanks for the memories Allan.

    That's not exactly saying much.
  • I wonder if he will do better there than Scott Fraser who has so far made a few bit part appearances in first 3 games of the season, got I jured and then hasn't got back in the team since!
