Not played for our first team this season, so at least we have the option of loaning him elsewhere.

Like the other u21s on the fringes, he’s progressed beyond that level and needs a bigger challenge.

Maybe he just needs the right club, not necessarily a drop in the level he’s playing at.

Walsall lost some loans.  He might be better off at a team that is top of the league where he can come on late to impact.

Said at the time Crawley wasn't a great option as they'd be struggling. A league 2 relegation battle probably isn't the ideal learning environment for a tricky impact player in their first season

Time to go home I think and I don’t mean to Charlton . Just not good enough

I reckon playing in a regular 46 game season he would score more & have more assists than TC.

I wonder what 'input' Methven had in the deal.

Neither Dixon or Asiimwe were in the squads for the last match. Injured or recalled. Neither have been starters recently.

Asiimwe came off the bench for Wombles

Assimwe has dropped to the bench recently because he was looking shattered. Had started nearly every game and pretty much played every minute. For a 21 year old who has never played regular senior football that was always going to happen, I’m sure he will be back in the team again soon now he’s had a bit of a breather

Dixon to Crawley was always a strange one.  Their style of play is very much a gillespey diagonal punt style while keeping defensive shape against better opponents ( which is pretty much every team in league two) Not sure if a more lightweight flair/pace style of player was going to play much in their system.   It is a shame as Dixon showed some potential early for them but hardly plays now.

He needs playing time to gain experience and to learn to be more physical in his playing style if he wants make it in the league.  Maybe this means dropping to national league if it means playing more regularly
