Watson, MacGillivray, Gilbey. This game is making me feel gross.

Lovely little ball through to their forward there who shouldve done better

Lovely bit of skill there to set up a good chance. Flicked it over the defender into the striker's path and he put it over
  • He’s now making things happen. The commentator is the head of the KD fan club

Seems to struggle with some of the basics but clearly capable of some real magic.
Presumably you can learn the basics more easily than the magic though, so hopefully he can do that in this loan spell

Hopefully he’s that’s just adapting to senior football.
  • Exactly why he needs this loan spell, goes from giving the ball away numerous times to unplayable in the space of ten minutes. So raw but so much natural talent

He's been entertaining, could have had two assists thus far.

Watching Gilbey play is giving me PTSD. I remember having to watch that utter rubbish, week in, week out. Eurghhhhh.
  • Took the ball up the pitch for the eventual goal, very comfortable with the ball at his feet, polish up the rest then we could have a player. Interestingly he might end up taking up a Carey position and drift wide from central

Crawley go 1-0 up just before half time, and the trademark Kaheim enthusiasm in the celebrations even though it wasn't his goal.

Very few footballers I have ever wanted to succeed more than Dixon. Seems a lovely young lad
I agree from what I have seen he seems like a nice kid

This lad is incredibly entertaining. Beats his man, flicks a lovely through ball with the outside of his boot, follows into the box and unfortunately puts it over. Should have scored a worldie.
  • That miss was rough from Dixon, did the hard work getting the ball up the pitch squared off to him then blazed it over the bar

Should have scored, really. The turn and pass from him that started the move was pure filth though.

Thought that was a foul on him in the clearance before the goal

Positionally he has got to sharpen up, where to run and when. It will come but I think  a loan is going to make him

His stamina is standing up to the test so far. Impressed to see him using his pace to track back for other players being out of position too.

    Fun to watch.

Accept I’m going to get pelters here but I think this lad will be a great player for us next year a season of regular football with proper coaching he will develop into one hell of a player

  • If he does well until Jan but, Crawley struggle, do we do a Chelsea and recall to  send him tosomeone in a high div or higher in l2
  • The commentator liked him: “fantastic match”

Agree, he's very different and that is a very creditable result against MK Dons.

If it's the right move for him and us, then yes.

That match said everything about why he needs the next few months/ a year on loan. He’s an u21 dream player but he needs to play men’s football week in week out to become a complete player.

He had moments of quality in that match that were WAY above the level. But watching him over the 90, there’s no way he’s currently getting into a Nathan Jones Championship side. He’s not professionally experienced enough in his game play.
  • Spent the last 15 at RWB after Crawley made their last subs and was largely anonymous after that. Cracking performance overall and no doubt will put out a decent highlight reel. My personal favourite was a flick over an onrushing attacker's head before killing it and sending the ball down the line early in the second half.
  • Given it was his first 90 in senior men’s football in England, he looked good, had a tendency to go missing in parts but that’s probably expected, more experience through the season should sharpen him up. Promising start

Just listened to the Scott Lindsey post match and he was full of praise for Kaheim, but interestingly said that Jones text him a few weeks back saying that he thought Dixon was perfect for Crawley and for Lindsey to train and coach him. Shows that we really considered where Dixon should go next in his development.
