Godden's scoring stats look very respectable when you look at Goals per 90 and Mins per Goal, as he's played far fewer minutes than most of the others on the list.
Jones deserves a lot of credit for seeing that Leaburn had a poor game against Shrewsbury and brought Godden in for Bristol Rovers. Godden has taken the chance and run with it, delighted for him. Won more headers today than Miles or Chuks has recently, alongside running the defenders ragged and linking up well with TC. Feels great to have so many options on the bench but no chance they’re starting ahead of him in this form
I dont know how he glances the ball into the goal from such tight angles, thats three now I think, and running across the six yard line means any contact from a defender and its a pen, must be hard to mark.
Hope that his little incident off the ball where his ankle gave way (?) doesnt balloon up now.
Could well be one of those little things, like Ahadme's foot when Campbell stepped on it, where the full effects of the problem aren't known until much later after the incident itself.
Gas is so far off the Starting XI it's unbelievable
I’d have Gas on the bench over Chuks (Dives for cover).
Chuks is nowhere near as good as he used to be and I think his body is telling him it's time to call it a day and concentrate on his property business. Gas on the other hand appears to offer next to nothing when he plays. Both will need replacing in the summer regardless of what division we are in.

Hope Matty is all right, he’s become an integral part, to our recent uptick in form.

I was discussing this with my Dad. It looked to me as one of those classic ones where you pretend it hurt a lot more than it did just to hide the embarrassing skill he attempted

I mean he was having a golf lesson earlier today which you definitely wouldn’t be doing if your ankle was blowing up.

A lesson? I thought he was a scratch golfer, anyway...

Which makes Ahadme starting in front of him at times even more baffling
