Do you have to move out of the family stand once your kid is 18?
That is literally the whole point of the family stand !!!
A pain though when you’ve got family still sitting in there. May have to recruit a new fan to bring along
Depending upon the ages of the kids in your family group and how many there are in total (adults + kids), now might be a good time for you all to move. At the moment you can pick a vacant spot where you could all sit together. If we do have a promotion year then those vacant spots that will fit a big group sitting together will diminish rapidly and when the time comes for all of your group to move you may have lost the opportunity to stay together.
Not showing our Valley Gold discount either. Checked with Sharron who said should all be in order - but still coming up at full price. Will have to call ticket office next week.
Should is an interesting word. ’Will’ is even better.
Total farce. Calling at 11.20 only to be greeted with a message they are closed. Open at 11 am apparently.
Yeah, imagine not working in the ticket office on a bank holiday in the close season ...... theres a game in 3 months that needs tickets selling. "Total farce". 🙄
Yes realised it was a bank holiday about 10 minutes after posting. When you're retired and don't work, bank holidays don't mean much. Also thought I'd deleted but hadn't. My mistake, going totally senile.
I tried telephoning just now but the ticket office is closed. I assume they make you call on a premium rate telephone number.
Just before that I tried to go into the ticket information using this device which is an iPad, but when you jab menu, or anything actually, you get a brief flash of another page then it reverts to the bit you just jabbed.

Yeah that is what the voice said when I called this morning. Do you know if it is a premium rate telephone number?

Well I am currently holding on. A voice keeps saying ‘get closer to the action by following us on Twitter, Facebook and instagram’, so they get you to hang on the telephone (over five minutes so far) and bombard you with advertisements aimed at making internet people richer. I wonder if the club get a cut from Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Sick exploitation of fans in my opinion. Now over seven minutes.

Now been hanging on for over 11 minutes, I really hope it isn’t a premium rate rip off, as they said normal price from a BT landline, but I am calling on a Community Fibre landline.
The bastards added a £2.50 booking fee right at the end after hanging on so long. Anyway we have renewed, I hope the tickets arrive before the first home match, the guy said they use a company to send them out, I wonder how reliable said company is.

Mine has arrived before the first game every single time so I expect it will be fine Seth.
There will be the traditional annual "Where's my ticket?!!! 😠 😡 " thread that pops up here each summer 6 weeks before the first home game kicks off with rampant panic and rage before gradually simmering as tickets arrive in tact and well in good time before needed so I'm sure we can all gain consensus on operational process between collectively ripping each other apart on favourite cheese threads and bemoaning lack of signings throughout the close season.
Quick question; have I imagined it or do the club do a kind of open day thing where you can go into the Valley to pick a specific seat (if available) for a season ticket purchase? Try before you buy kind of thing.
I'm thinking of getting one for next season as I did 18 home games last season so it's more cost effective to have a season ticket.
Did mine last week online, only took a few minutes, was going to pay for it over either 3 or 10 months, but when I saw the charges involved, I put it on my credit card and will pay it off next month.
I renewed my S/T online and then forwarded the confirmation email to the ticket offfice email and asked them to refund me my VG discount...! They're normally pretty good.
They did get back to me quite quickly...my VG discount was applied automatically! Just that on the confirmation it doesn't actually show that - it's just deducted but not declared on the invoice.
Renewed mine and three grandkids this afternoon on the phone changed details of one of my granddaughters to another grandson staff very helpful. Sent proof of age by email and got confirmation that all done within the hour. No waiting no hassle all in impressive service.
