  • Kick off and we pump the ball forward, Ramsey heads on but it's their goal kick.

Charlton will end the season with just five clean sheets from a possible 46. Rancid stat.

Frustrating... Hector stepped out of defence to win the ball, failed - Shouldnt have mattered as we didnt have any gaps with him out of position.

But ball still gets through to their man who is fouled by Thomas

Probably would have been 1-0 anyway had he not made the challenge.
  • Dear oh dear oh dear. Shambolic.

    Get Thomas gone.
  • Awful defending again. Could tell that attack would lead to a goal somehow, seen it so many times this season.
  • Thomas was playing well a few weeks ago but his form has collapsed in the last few weeks. That was just not good enough. No idea how he has been keeping REG out of the team who I think has been the best of our January signings but has seemingly fallen out of favour.
  • Wycombe thow by the dugouts, we pump it forward, Kanu in a tussle with a defender by their RH corner flag but it's a goal kick.

  • Hopefully last time we’ll see Thomas 🤦🏻‍♀️😡
  • Unfortunately I'm reprising exactly what I posted last week.
That goal sums up our defensive frailties all season.

  • Need 11 new players this summer...

Creativity and a goal scoring midfielder are a must in the summer.

May and Kanu would be so much more of a threat if they didnt have to spend Saturday afternoons completing a 10km run, as well as trying to score the amount they chase the ball
  • Our keepers, no matter who they are, never look like saving a penalty.
Isted looks small when he's on his line

That is an awful stat. So,so poor
  • Ramsey does well to slide in to collect the ball, his man goes down, ref not fussed. We go upfield and cross into the box but the keeper collects.

Dobbo goes wide to Small, down the left crosses into the box and it's cleared for a corner.
    <CTRL+V>Corner come to nothing.
In football, only 2% of corners lead to a goal. So essentially even in that area we’re not special
  • Wycombe player finally up and play continues.

I'm not sure it's form. People say similar of Hector. They just aren't good enough to be consistently good.

Clean sheets in 10% of our games this season. And we need nearer 45% for a promotion push. We can't keep either of these players
  • Oxford and Blackpool winning, Barnsley and Lincoln drawing. As it stands the first two would be in the playoffs.

Just seen the replay... Wycombe fans unhappy at not getting a free kick.

Ramsay though, thats got to be the greatest sliding tackle I've ever witnessed - Cleanly gets the ball, but probably catches Leahy with the follow through
  • Wycombe send the ball into the box, Isted claims and pumps it forward quickly but it runs through to their keeper.
  • Oxford and Blackpool winning, Barnsley and Lincoln drawing. As it stands the first two would be in the playoffs.
Jeez didnt realise that Barnsley could still miss out on the Play-Offs
  • Not a very subtle shove from Hector on their player by the goal line.

Commentary pretty damning of the defence, "no communication at all"

But we don't even create a half-chance from our corners.

It's only a matter of time before our players start getting booked for winning a corner because all we're doing is wasting time before the oppo get the ball back and the game can re-start properly.

Its nice of them to summarise the season in one 90min segment
  • Dobbo sends the ball down the left to Small, he just about keeps it in tries to cut back to Kanu and we have a corner.
