Those colours at the first match against Birmingham under the floodlights could be like the very first night match I saw as a kid in 1967 when the experience of the illuminated colours and night atmosphere seemed so wondrous and suddenly I was hooked and couldn’t get enough of going to matches after that whereas I hadn’t really been that interested before.
It might just be me, but does anyone else think it looks a bit patchy in the corners? Seems to be like it in all the puctures I've seen.
Nothing that couldn’t be put right with a spray can of green paint
Bit confused here……I suspect the actual markings of the pitch will be inside of those bare patches….am I right?
Still looks like a crap 10 year old shag pile carpet, wherever you want to paint those white lines...🤷♂️
Not sure I’m seeing the same issues you are.
It’s come a long way in 6 weeks and there’s still almost another two until there’s any football played on it - three and a half until there’s anything meaningful.

The trees behind make the place look especially nice in my opinion.
And they provide a good spot for our famous pigeons to live.
If you look at this pic I assume the two white circles on the grass are the holes for the posts
Trust the process my friend.
