    Anyone got a Maltipoo?

My wife is adamant the girls need a dog in their lives.
I'm fairly sure I dont need a dog in my life as I'm going to be the one left to walking duties.

'But you walk every day darling?'. Yes I might walk 5-6 miles a day without fail but thats my time, no wife, no kids, me alone with my own thoughts, all about me, exercise and keeping on top of my mental health.

However, I can see the girls want one.  I'm allergic to dogs so we are very much limited to a choice of hypoallergenic hair over fur.

We've already got 3 cats in the house. Are maltipoos good with kids, cats and a grumpy old fucker of a human Dad who really really doesn't want the job of chief poo pickerupper?!

You've already answered the question mate, the girls don't need a dog. 3 cats is a lot of fur energy and dogs become boring to families tragically quickly and they become a chore. They need stimulation, care and exercise whereas cats give the impression that animals are easy. Besides that, its their house and they can be at best unpredictable with new additions let alone their sworn mortal enemies coming in. Also, the cats claw is not a combination with puppies eyes especially inquisitive puppies eyes

Our Therapy dog Bowyer play bowing with horses in the field next to the school.
Loves his horses but can’t work out why they won’t play with him.

Stan is on Antibiotics after being bitten by another dog off lead in the park.

It all happened very quickly and was a shock….but it could have been much worse.

Here is an example why I do not like dogs being off their lead.  However well trained they are things like this can happen, the dog on the lead would have meant no danger for your Stan.
I hope he gets better soon.

He’s on the mend thanks mate.
  • Sadly, we lost our 15 year old cavachon, Jasper this week - a beloved family dog who spent the latter years of his life between our 2 houses & was devoted to us all.

He was the sweetest, loving little man you could ever wish to meet. Not a bad bone in his body.

    Oh how we miss him.

    Sleep tight, loved one.

Stan’s war wound healing nicely. No infection left.
I’m telling him that the bitches will love it.

Just a reminder that my wife now has a dog grooming business, a message she’s currently sharing I said I’d put on here for anyone interested.

Hi all!. As some of you may know, I have begun a new venture in my plight to reduce my hours working for the NHS!
I have now worked my last contracted day as a midwife and would like to focus more of my time & energy on my furry customers 🐾

If anybody is looking for a dog groomer I would be very grateful if you could pass on my details 🥰 I offer free meet & greets and am happy to discuss individual groom requirements. I am on insta & Facebook as Turner & Pooch Dog Grooming and my website is

    Thank you 🐶

I'm very sorry to hear that Jasper's no longer with you @Fanny Fanackapan .It’s very hard when you lose a beloved member of the family. He lived a long and happy life with you and you will always have those memories.
  • Love and best wishes Jean.  <3
  • Run free Jasper .God bless
  • I can't lie, but having a difficult time in general at the minute.

Before we said our goodbyes, Jasper would know how I was feeling & would jimp on my lap & start licking my face....

I'm missing him more than ever today.

FF I am sorry about how you’re feeling, and the loss of your beloved companion.
He was lucky to have you caring for him, but that isn’t huge compensation now he isn’t here to care for you.
Time is a healer I suppose.
