Quite amusing really; I asked for a medium red wine on Saturday and got half a pint, result! Whilst a lady on a nearby table ordered a white wine and ended up with a pint of the stuff! Kids behind the bar, all nice but absolutely clueless. Not their fault of course.
It was plastic cups pre match at the last game as well
I don’t recall getting a plastic cup the previous game they might have just run out of glasses depending what time you were served or of course there’s every chance someone randomly just pours into plastic cups if they don’t know any better.
Water main problems in the area so lack of water pressure meaning dishwashers couldn't operate.

You are joking (I hope)?
No, I got a pint of red wine. Unfortunately, I had to drive home after the match, so was obliged to share it around on my table.

Should of left the car & got another "glass of red" please
Which turned out to be 4 stalls giving out leaflets on energy saving and the burger van that’s there every game. None of the above in the car park. Why advertise something if you’re not going to do it? Shame actually as I think a decent Xmas market offering would have worked

I'd done the walk to the Valley with three ten year olds and I was constantly cajoling them with the promise of "gourmet hot chocolate" on arrival. All they ended up with was a free pen and a small candy cane.from one of the stalls.

Aware of that, was referring to the previous game AFKA mentioned.

This was truly pathetic and sums up the not even half arsed approach to things by the club. Literally don't bother if you're not going to try

What other club can you go to the reception and be confronted with a guy sitting at the desk Knitting.Which happened to my sister last year who happened to work the front desk for 7 years during the premiership era.

What’s wrong with this exactly? I’d much rather someone was doing something as constructive as knitting while there maybe some down time than staring at their mobile phone 🤷♀️

Great idea of saving the club a few bob, we could get them to do socks for the players!

But he was knitting nets for both goals ae The Valley !
Employees are clueless and act like they are half asleep. One person serving on the hot food stall and there was less in the kids nuggets and chips than last time. Topping this, plastic glasses for expensive beer is taking the piss and not only that, shite for the environment too I expect.
It still pisses me off that every fucking Saturday home game somebody decides it’s a good idea to switch from a game everybody is watching to Charlton TV with NO FUCKING SOUND. Why ????? It was made worse this week because we missed Liverpool’s winning goal against Palarse
I agree only a total fuckwit would allow fans to sit there watching a game from 12.30 to 14.15 to then turn it over for Charlton TV with no sound and miss the end of the game. You couldn't make up the crass stupidity.
And nobody says anything?
After many many discussions with the management i managed to get them to agree to keep the evening kick off on until it finishes(they used to turn that off around 80 minutes 🤦♂️) but now they allow you to stay till the end of the evening match and that took a lot of discussions 🤣🤣
Watch the whole of Liverpool v Arsenal in Bartram's
Fans can then enjoy live coverage of the top-of-the-table clash between Liverpool and Arsenal from 5.30pm until the full-time whistle in Bartram's. While the early parts of the game will be available elsewhere in the stadium, the only area where you can watch the full game will be in Bartram's, next to the club's West Stand reception.

Iunchtime games are Man Utd v West Ham and Leeds v Ipswich so presumably it will one of those that somebody in the Fans Bar will decide to switch from before the game has ended in order that Charlton fans can watch the ground breaking programme ‘Lip reading with Curbs and Brownie’

A never to be forgotten ‘I was there experience’ for the fans in the bar that day.

I don’t understand why anyone would try & sell cocktails to mainly older men.
You may as well go to an 18-21s bar full of “girls” and set up a bar selling pints of bitter.
They obviously do ok or they wouldnt be coming back. We have a couple every game and they are nice. Il inform my 6ft4 skin head dad on the next trip that hes not allowed one .
