May does so well there, great ball over then busts a gut to get into the box

Sounds like a great atmosphere on CharltonTV :)

    Chem Campbell replaces Dobson.

Might as well, when we've got May as a Defensive Midfielder

    !!!!!!!! CHARLTON !!!!!!!

Blackett-Taylor is blowing out his arse. He’s had two opportunities to break in the last 5 minutes and didn’t have the energy either time.
    Lol. You’re welcome, everyone. 🤪

May is a proper poacher... great little player! Come on exeter!!!! Meant to deposit 50 into my skybet account earlier and put 50 on 4-2 by accident at 40s

Or is he just lucky to have all the strikers fit for the same game?

Am I imagining it or do our fitness levels seem much higher since Apps took over?
A few players are starting to get some decent minutes in their legs. Said it at the time, pre-season was a bit of shambles with hardly anyone coming out of it with some 90 minutes under their belt seemingly no-one coming out of it well conditioned and match ready (maybe Dobbo, but that boy's fitness/energy levels are freakish by anyone's standards). I think it must've been a significant factor in why Holden was let go.

    CBT saved Mcapples blushes there.

First time I've seen us since McApples has taken over & we would have been better sticking with Holden.

Playing our best striker ('May) deep & Tedic out wide. Why ? Just why ?

We are a shadow of the team that played Orient 2 months ago. No width & no pace. Louis Watson has grown into the game but still little creativity. No pace out wide (what's happened to CBT ?) and Tedic is wasted out there.

Best player so far has been Chuks. Unlucky not to have 2 and his strength is frightening them. Play him with May as a front 2. Then CBT & T.Campbell out wide. Dobson & Watson in midfield. If 442 is really outdated then play a back 3 with Edun (when fit) as a wing back.

Still sloppy at the back & can easily let in another couple if goals before 90 mins are up.

    Shambles.

    Booyah!

Deserved, given the amount of whinging Exeter did after the penalty and red card

Is Brown forgetting we're 4-1 up? Commentating like we're level or behind.

Just cashed out, theyll probably score now

Two goals out of position for May 🤭
Think he's looked good in the 10 role. Lots of energy, very busy, good at finding space, has an assist in him as well (he won't be credited with one, but he essentially assisted our first goal). And two goals boot! Exeter haven't been the greatest defensively, but he's made the most of the space he's been afforded.
