No problem.  £50m up front,  £1m per home game and if they want to use toilet or washroom facilities, we can stick a portacabin in a one of the store car parks off the Woolwich Road, we'll even stick their Sparrow sign on it or whatever the fuck it is...

What is the reason people hate palace ? Is it just because they are the local rivals or something more?

    lolz....
    Genuine question. Enlighten me

have you ever encountered many Palace fans? Have you been to Selhurst? Have you seen the "Ultra's"? Have you seen the crap they spout about being "South London and proud"?

They are our local rivals, but honestly, I have mates who support West Ham, Arsenal, Spurs etc who cant stand them. They are weird, arrogant wannabe types.

They are the kid at school that thought everyone liked them but had no mates and in fact everyone avoided cos they were weird and bored them with inane drivel chat.

There are exceptions of course, but generally, this is my experience of their fans.

Oh and Selhurst is the worst ground in London.
The funny thing is they still believe they are something special even after getting run beating up everywhere
What a sad bunch they are

I'm not from Charlton, I am from Surrey, so inevitably meet more Palace fans than Millwall. And I just can't take them seriously. It's the same reaction I get from meeting a Manchester United supporter in Texas who has never been to a game - I just don't care for anything they have to say. They're not real football fans as far as I can tell. Everything about that club smacks of desperation. Like they're a facsimile of a football club, one that wishes it was real. The lack of history or tradition bothers them so they try and invent it, like the claims that they're the world's oldest club. It's utterly pathetic. Like putting an exclamation mark after the EAGLES on their seats in that absolute fucking shit hole stadium. They remind me of one of those places where they build a McDonald's, Halfords and a Nando's near a cinema and wish it was a proper town. Only it's made out of sticklebricks and twigs. Writing 'SOUTH LONDON' on their shirts every other year. Who the fuck needs to write their location on their shirts? Unless of course, they're desperate to be accepted as part of that place. My brother in law and his kids are all Palace fans and they know it fucks me off. They never have a defence for any of my rants, they just laugh because they know it's fucking true.

I got bullied when I was 12 by a Palace. I'm ashamed I ever allowed that to happen - not being bullied, that's life, but by a fucking Palace fan.

Why give them an upgrade on what they used to?

So we'd be the 3rd biggest club at our own ground, after Palace and The Sidemen?
Sidemen are playing their annual game at the Olympic Stadium in a few months time to keep up with demand.

Was it there or Spuds' stadium?
