Two records Rooney has lost tonight.
Never mind, he’s still got the “oldest woman shagged by a current England international” record

Southgate has got this spot on so far. Well done England.

That’s as perfect an away 45 min performance as you’ll get. Keep going boys.

    Well done Southgate.
What a great England manager he's been.

Worst Italian team we've probably ever faced.

But this is like Charlton beating Millwall at the moment...

Wasnt a faultless first half as thought Italy were beginning to get a few minor opportunities.

Rice and Bellingham have all but dominated the Midfield

Looking forward to the haters comments should things stay as they are. I’m going for “worst Italy team for fifty years” myself…  :D

Italy's decline in the last 18 months is remarkable.  They are truly awful.  England look vey good without getting out of third gear.

And to think we have the likes of Rashford, Foden, Sterling, Mount, not even playing.
Thank God, the last two names you mention ain’t.

Agree - and wonder if Phillips presence alongside them has played a role in strengthening the overall unit.

Philips started slowly but he has started winning second balls and allows Bellingham and rice to control the midfield

It looked easier to score for chunky legs and we don't want to see England go negative in the 2nd half.
Playing Italy and Harry Kane was unmarked on the edge of the six yard box for the shot that led to Declan Rice's goal.
