Impressive, but what is ‘prompt theory’, or is that the joke, a nothing meme?

If so, I prefer the running gag ‘so called twins/so called posters/so called fans, ...' in the Wembley tickets thread, which had me in tears.
  • I just asked Grok which performers from Live Aid have since died.  It's an interesting read...

  • It's err...not exactly reliable is it!?
  • Today's Mirror reports that Grok blamed its own creator Musk and Trump for the death toll in the Texas Flood.

The AI bot replied to a user who'd enquired who was responsible for the fate of the 27 girls.

Grok said Trump's NOAA cuts pushed by Musk's DOGE slashed funding 30% and staff by 17% underestimating rainfall by 50% and delaying alerts.  This contributed to the floods killing 27 including 20 camp mystic girls.  "Facts over Feelings" Grok continued.

I clearly remember the day back in the 90s when a media director at work showed me Compuserve and online “mail order”. I knew then I was seeing the future.

I’ve been sceptical of AI and hallucination. Then today I was given the opportunity to wear and test Meta AI glasses. For the first time in 25-30 years I thought again “Oh sh*t, this changes everything”. Imagine your phone on your head, voice activated with a sound / voice response. Alexa was too clunky to really catch on but this is different league imo. And that’s also our privacy total out of the window - but it’s so useful we’ll trade that.
I wonder how long till it starts mind reading? And no, I haven’t lost it, as Meta have long been researching this stuff.
  • They used to call people wearing the early prototype of these 'Glassholes'. Nothing has changed.
  • How are glasses going to replace a phone, tablet or PC when many people have to either put on or take off their glasses to see a screen now?
