    Can’t understand why Cummins and his mate are not trying to splat it all over the place. 352 is likely to be a big enough lead and they will want maximum time to bowl England out given the weather forecast is a bit iffy. Or am I thinking Bazball?

    Some kind of bravado - Smith batted at Lord's in 2019 with concussion to prove a point about something. 

    Suits me if they make Lyon's injury worse. 

    It's also dangerous if he can't get out of the way of a short delivery.

    I think the Aussies are scared because of the number of overs that are left. 

    360 to get off approx 130 overs is very gettable.

    Pretty sure they would've asked him if he wanted to go out. It's not like they would've held a gun to his head.

    Every extra run could be vital, as we learnt in the first test by stupidly declaring.
