Tongue has been our best bowler so far. Let's get another couple quickly to really make things interesting

Be aggresive by all means, but when the opposition set an obvious trap and one bat after another walks into it, that's just f*****g stupid.

    Argh.

3 seconds from a wicket there.

Tongue providing that bit of difference. He is closer to the Aussie attack than the rest of ours.

Anyone else get annoyed when they don’t show if the ball would have hit the stumps as soon as there is another reason it’s not out?  I think it would be umpires call on height, but would be nice to see

I'm getting annoyed with the Aussie batsmen keep pulling away. Perhaps that's the fault of the MCC members though?

Like others have suggested and given his comment following the last match in relation to the pitch, this might well be the final series of England's greatest ever bowler. In fact, he might decide to call it a day as far as pro cricket is concerned as I'm not sure that he would he really be interested in doing what Sir Alastair Cook is doing.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if this was Jimmy's last series , I just hope he doesn't go out with a whimper.

Oh dear oh dear. Broad is fuming but then when you cry wolf so many times you will eventually run out of reviews. Which is why Stokes should have trusted himself for the one that was smashed onto the pad.

Broad lbw on Labuschagne not given, they don’t review and it would’ve been overturned.

I'm not a bowler but even I called that out.

    Numpties.

Or not. But it really wasn't much of a celebration.

Labuschagne wafts an Anderson delivery straight to backward point… finally a little bit of something going for us

Don't think wickets off long-hops help his cause much tbh

For a player who hasn't previously shown any form against us here, his scores this summer against England have been 141, 65, 17 and 57*

Bairstow is obviously standing up to stop Smith from standing out of his crease but I wonder, if we are going to bowl that leg stump line with two in catching positions, whether he wouldn't be better served standing back?

To be fair his form generally since his recall has been very good.

The second series wasn't as good in my opinion as the first but it was worth watching if only for Khawaja's story

Poor Root. He's gone from skipper to doing the job usually undertaken by the newbie - short leg

Gloomy. And it had been raining for a couple  of minutes before they went off
