    ref is either shit or bent not sure which, what’s the point of var if they don’t use it properly.

    not getting enough bodies in their box, get saka off definite weak link.

    Thought we were OK, their biggest threat has been mostly kept quiet. We have had chances and this is far from over. 


    Most interesting thing is the jeers greeting the refs decisions, sounds like we have a lot of the neutral support.

    Ref has been poor, but I still think build up is too slow. Think we will see Rashford and possibly Grealish second half.

    The bonus is, we probably have the better depth in our squad... So if Gareth is as sensible as he has been all tournament, our subs could make the diff

    I think if Walker was able to push on him and Saka would rip that right hand side apart. 

    At some point we just have to go for it and tell Henderson to sit back on Mbappe and foul him if France counter.

    Trailing but been the better side since the goal. Happy to see we don’t appear to be panicking like Portugal did earlier. As always, we look better for being more positive. Thought we were a bit tentative to begin with. Plenty to play for here.

    Next goal is crucial. If France get it, they will play spoilers and run out comfortable winners.

    At times Saka has been one on one but delayed making a move until they have more cover back.  We definitely need more impetus at times

    Classic England story - we lose today we will be saying for years we would have won the World Cup were it not for this one game (which going on todays performance which has been decent against the best team) is probably true.

    Also regardless of whether that was in the penalty box or not, how does the referee not blow for a foul?

    To me, this looks like a ref that has already decided England go down too easily.

    If that's the case, he is an absolute amateur and deserves all the stick he will get after this.
