    In all likeliness this is a potential out of the current situation, so to sit and do nothing and moan instead, I don’t get.

    So why do I have to sit through small crowds and bad atmosphere week in week out, just for our supposed “new owners” to have it easy with a full crowd.

    True Seth but if there were still any serious questions about Sandgaard's willingness to sell, I don't think PV would have put that Tweet out.

    Does he really need to do this? His track record on developing the Valley, Valley Express, building gates and filling the ground for years speak for themselves. These weren't all his ideas by any means but he facilitated them as Chief Exec. Problem is big egos fear being put in the shadows by competent and popular leaders.

    What evidence do you have that PV has had his head up the Sandgaard’s arses…..before you say that, you ought to have significant evidence.
    How come you know this but no one else has even hinted that they regularly converse with one other and even if it were to be true, why would he find it necessary to do so, how does he gain from it.
    Do you know PV? Well I (amongst many others), do……being up anyones arse is far and away from his style of operating, no way would he do that.

    Well I think anyone reading your post would have come to the conclusion you were referring to Peter Varney…..so I can only say I’m sorry I read it that way.
    I also don’t know who the CL arse licker in chief is that you mention.
    Peter has never been up the Sandgaard's arses, he has never shown any bias in favour of them either. 

    I won't lie, for a minute, just a minute, I thought it may have been me! As I backed Sandgaard and had communicated directly with him a number of times, but his answers slowly began to smell more and more of BS, then he and Raelynn fucked over several trusted members of staff in a short period of time and Olly was my last straw. 

    From that point on, he'd lost my support. 

    Then I read the bit about a sudden turn to filling the Valley at Peter's request and I realised... Nah Sandgaard lost me a long time before that!

    if you a charlton fan surely a cup game against a premier league team in front or a potentially big crowd should excite you, rather than small crowds against shit teams every other week?

    Was going to say the same, but then thought that it would still show potential, and that 16k to 20k fans exist at least. If a Tweet by an ex-senior executive can do it, imagine what a new owner, a bit of dough and a change of direction could do to attendances.

    The other way to look at it is, Barcley has had a bet with PV and said something along the lines of - "If there's more than 20k at the 2 bob Cup, I'll go all in"

    Not sure about blowing smoke but until very recently I have very much given Thomas the benefit of the doubt but that’s finally worn thin. I thank him for sorting out and ridding us of of the previous parasites which if he hadn’t we might now not be here to moan at all. I think his intentions have always been honourable and the failures have been down to being too full of himself and having no clue that having an experienced CEO should have been the first thing he did. In all honesty the mistakes have kept coming. Thank you Thomas but I hope you do the right thing and get the hell out and save yourself some money and let someone else try where you have not been able to get things right. It’s also an indictment of todays football when a businessman like TS with all his money is still not rich enough to own and progress a third tier football club.

The thread originally said investment, but if he wants to sell, I can’t think of anyone better to be fronting a buyer than Peter Varney.

    We should sell them ever ticket we can't sell to our own supporters. If they can't /won't turn up for any reason ( and some will be genuinely good reasons) then the space can be  sold for a profit to someone else. The club needs to make money, running at a £7 million loss a year is no joke. If TS pulls the plug we fold.(not recommending this, better to sell but to whom....)

    As a Charlton fan, nothing excites me anymore. The recent years have left me devoid of any emotion.

    I’m in Poland for that game and Christmas but I’d be there if not!
    It’s also a message to TS that there’s other ways to increase the crowd than giving tickets away.
