My mate who was at Swindon Town back in the day, and was with Keith today, reckons Payne and Campbell are two outstanding players in the side, he also liked JFC cameo. He was shocked when I told him Payne never starts a game, JFC doesn't play any league games and that Campbell is a youngster. He doesn't understand the Payne and JFC situation at all! Kinda sums it up for me as well!
More souls there today supporting Charlton than there were for the H&W tie last season, and more than 3k of them in total. I take my hat off to all who went, and to the team, the manager and to Coalville Town & fans.👏
Regardless of whoever we get next round, doesn't it feel good tonight knowing that a ball with our number on it will be in the hat on Monday. FA cup draws are always exciting and our quadruple hopes are still alive.
I might even decide to make the long round trip again myself soon, thanks to Ben Garner and his team. A good appointment I think, but he'll need backing come January.

But...he didn't really do anything?
Pointing out those three but not Sessegnon or Dobson?
What a difference Aneke made when he came on. His layoffs are something else and he took his goal so well. Hoping Thomas’s injury isn’t too bad - can’t afford to lose another centre back.
Hats off to the noisy Coalville fans. Decent side for the level. Their 11 looks promising.
I like how we showed up today, and got at Coalville from the kick off.
Thought we respected them throughout the tie, there was no slacking from our players, thinking: "Oh there are X Leagues between us, we can take our time, and take advantage when they tire" - Garner did well to make them focus on the fact that it was important that we took control, and got the first goal.
We maybe peppered them with pot shots a bit too much for my liking for the most part (Morgan tried far too hard to impress today), and second half Coalville made a decent contest of it (First half they seemed a bit awed by the occasion) - But from apart from the period between 2-1 and 3-1, I never thought there was going to be an upset on the cards.
Agree that Sessegnon | Campbell were the standouts for us this afternoon - Payne had a good game by getting two goals, but still floats in and out of games, can see why he doesnt start more often, he's another super sub in our setup.
Disappointed with McGrandles and Henry, probably being a little harsh on the latter given his age etc. but I'm only harsh on him, as he's probably my favourite of the youngsters coming through, and would love to see him succeed with us, and think he will do - Also disappointed that we had to rely on the likes of JFC | Aneke to finish off the game, was hoping to see more of Rylah whilst it may have been a better game for Kanu to get a second chance, but again thats credit to Coalville who forced to us to make better subs to see out the match.
Are you lot all on drugs, just heard on Radio 4 sports bulletin that we were knocked out by a team four divisions below us 3-1?! I suppose Talksport would struggle with the latest financial situation to be fair.

I would agree based on today. However Payne has been very inconsistent, not sure a regular starting position is warranted yet. Competing a bit with Rak Saki. Campbell is a really exciting player who I like we will see a lot more of in coming months. Competing with CBT imo. After the last games JFC must have got ahead of Mcgrondles.
Watched the match on a stream due to train strikes (yes i know they were called off but train times not amended where i live), thought Coalville gave a good account of themselves and run out of steam in the end, two great finishes to complete the scoring.
McGrandles has got to be shipped out in January, brings nothing to the party.

Because he loves Charlton so much
Cheers.

I must have missed something?

Ebbsfleet away in the next round please.
