McLaren must really see something in Dixon to give him all these starts. There are some decent players on that bench.4

I may have missed it as wasn’t previously aware he might represent Jamaica but how does he qualify for them ?Is it presumably parents or grand parents for example?I assume he must have been approached by the Jamaican FA a little while ago to make the call and not pursue an England ambition.Curious how the FAs identify potential players globally. Of is this where agents actually do work to a players advantage?0

Ben Brereton Diaz was scouted for Chile based on his Football Manager video game profile.valleynick66 said:I may have missed it as wasn’t previously aware he might represent Jamaica but how does he qualify for them ?Is it presumably parents or grand parents for example?I assume he must have been approached by the Jamaican FA a little while ago to make the call and not pursue an England ambition.Curious how the FAs identify potential players globally. Technical probs, players difficult to recognise & seems it's Tyrese Campbell of Sheffield Utd on the bench.
Gave up already

Dixon very much involved!0

Is there something stopping the bbc reporting on some of these games?

Some of the apps etc (including live score and Flashscore) have it listed as the Sheffield United TC, but it is indeed ours on the bench.Fanny Fanackapan said:Technical probs, players difficult to recognise & seems it's Tyrese Campbell of Sheffield Utd on the bench.

The Sheffield Tyrese is on holiday.3 -

Kaheim got 56 minutes before being subbed. Jamaica winning 1 -0 through a 17th minute Warner Brown goal. TC still on the bench at the moment with 67 minutes gone.1
-
70th min Jamaica 1-0 up, British Virgin Islands keeper is currently down injured. Not sure if any Jamaica subs on yet.1
-
OK, thanks. But on another YouTube link, they put up the photos of the Jamaica squad, and our Tyreece wasn't shown but the Sheff Utd player's photo & club was.stackitsteve said:

Three subs so far, but TC unused at the moment. As above Kaheim got the first 56 minutes.aliwibble said:70th min Jamaica 1-0 up, British Virgin Islands keeper is currently down injured. Not sure if any Jamaica subs on yet.
P.S. dirty grey skies and persistently precipitating in the Caribbean. Hope McLaren has got his umbrella ☔️😉4 -
Four subs for Jamaica so far - no Tyreece yetaliwibble said:70th min Jamaica 1-0 up, British Virgin Islands keeper is currently down injured. Not sure if any Jamaica subs on yet.3 -
5th Jamaican sub, not Tyreece

5 minutes added, but still no TC yet.1
-
All over. A 1-0 for Jamaica, but TC has to wait for another day to get on the pitch.1

Whether he plays or not in the next game it’s great experience for TC. To have someone like Leon Bailey to learn off is invaluable7

Played 3 won 3
Big game next week where they play Guatemala who are also on 9 points after winning all 3 games so far.

It's a dead rubber. Both teams already qualifiedsam3110 said:Played 3 won 3

Which sounds like a great time to blood a new player i.e. TC5 -
They’re playing them twice in a week. First is a dead rubber, the second is their first game of the Gold cup I believe.Siv_in_Norfolk said:

Pretty poor result for Jamaica. Had a look at the BVI squad and 9 of them are 21 and under, and the vast majority of the squad either play locally or in English non-league.TelMc32 said:All over. A 1-0 for Jamaica, but TC has to wait for another day to get on the pitch.1 -
Poor? I think it's terrible. Surely Jamaica's bext XI should score a hatful against the best British VI available. They had a five player advantage.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

He got 10 minutes tonight, the game was already over so he didn't do much, but I'm sure he won't care as he's now a full international13
-
Impressive result for Jamaica, which shows they probably weren't putting too much effort in v BVI the other day.0
-
TC and Dixon both made the Gold Cup squad
Anderson did not

They are coming to Austin again, like they did last summer for the Copa America. Might have to get a ticket.3

Am surprised Antonio is there , wasn't sure what the prognosis was on when he was likely to be fit.
Plenty of fairly recognisable EFL names in that squad too.0 -
I think around half of the squad were born in England. They’ve got some decent players, hopefully they do well and it’s a great experience for TC and Dixon.MarcusH26 said:Am surprised Antonio is there , wasn't sure what the prognosis was on when he was likely to be fit.
