I can't beleieve how people don't understand what Jones is saying about TC. Is it intentional? He has a massive ceiling and none of us know how high he is going to go. Jones is looking at similar players he has managed and made a comment based on that.2

Despite Callums bizarre snipe, I've relentlessly said all season how good he is since the team has been settled, and if I had to pick a player of the year, it would be Tyreece, simply because without him, we wouldn't win games, he's our X factor.
I'd also say he was more impactful than JRS because of his versatility, and I dare say, I think he's almost as promising as Lookman was, just a couple of years behind.1 -

Never been more addicted to a chant in my life.
Hopefully 35,000+ of us will be belting it out at Wembley.

According to Josh in post match interview, TC ❤️ sings it himself!6

Doesn't he realise its racist?11

He has improved so much over the past few weeks. He really does seem to have found his confidence. It has clicked. One of the most important players now in our team. You can see how much he was missed last week against Lincoln. If we don’t get promoted I could see us losing him in the summer. Better than Blackett-Taylor now in my opinion.3

Surely TC is the perfect template for the owners possible business plan.
A young player not previously identified as an outstanding talent, but with bags of potential, is developed by an excellent academy.
Increasingly becomes an effective first team player, promoted by an encouraging and positive manager. Plays in a system, and in a role that works to his strength so that he develops. Ensure that the player is fully contracted, so that when the offers come in both the club and the player will benefit.
Re-invest the money to finance the Academy so new future talent can be developed along same lines, and help cover clubs losses for owners.
Ideally we would be in the Championship or PL, as we would will receive more money when the player is sold than we will obtain in Div 1.
I guess that the expectation was that Miles would be sold first, but his ongoing injury issues have somewhat hampered plans (but probably helped TC), and highlights the potential risks to this strategy.3 -
Watching the lad develop this season has been a real pleasure. It was a case of if only he can improve his finishing and he has found that. He has become hot property.13

At this stage, either prepare yourself to lose a shed load of money and keep every good player you can for as long as you can, or don't get involved in football ownership.2 -

What we do regularly have though are players like TC with a lot of potential that they can reach if we get our management and coaching right. TC could have been anything from a player who didn’t make it here (where he was heading under Appleton, and how some fans saw him), a useful L1 squad player (what most probably expected this season), to the player he’s now becoming.
I hope we hold on to him and have confidence this ownership won’t sell TC for a million or two as RD would have done. I can see their aim being to increase/maintain investment in the squad through the occasional big sale, but I can accept that if it ultimately leads to the squad getting better overall.1 -
If we go up, so will TCs value and we could be looking at a massive jump.5

Maybe this is the time to offer him a new improved deal and add another couple of years at the end. We don't need the one year option now.2
-
I'm not naive as we have always been a selling club other than Richard Murray part one of his tenure when him and Curbs didn't want to sell Scott Parker(toys out the pram) but does Nathan Jones really need to talk like a salesman who wants his commission come the summer ?

If you asked opponent's fans what player of ours they would take if they could, I suspect most would say TC.3

I’m still trying to find the one from @Braziliance on another thread that said we would never have a shot at top six with academy products like TC and Anderson in our squads and we had to spend some money to get better in. :-)0 - Sponsored links:

Not really, if the bag’s right.0

Named in Jamaica's preliminary 60 man squad for the Gold Cup along with Anderson and Dixon.23

Can’t understand why Ramsey isn’t involved with Jamaica. I heard they weren’t interested when he was at Harrogate but his profile raised when he joined us. But still he’s not involved
as for Campbell was told there are offers on the table that cannot be ignored any more. If we don’t go up he’ll leave sadly12 -

If TC goes that has to be for several million? I would hope we’re not going back to the RD days of selling a good young player for a million or two.0 -
