This is the highest level TC has played so far in his career. He is adapting to the new challenge and each game finding ways to unlock defences. The very fact that he does not look out of place is a testament to the hard work , talent and confidence that both him and the coaching team have put into his progress. Only 2 games and when I remember his progress last season I am incredibly excited so see how far he can push himself this season.Such a pleasure to watch an academy graduate show there is an achievable path to our first team.19

He’s had two games at the highest level of his career and certainly didn’t look out of place. Thought he looked very good in spells. He’s not reached his ceiling yet.5

I thought he scared the bejesus out of them yesterday everytime he got the ball and although no real end product was often double and triple marked, which I think says it all.3

I do wonder if TC may be more effective being the player that comes off the bench with 20 to go against tired legs.
He gets himself into great positions every game, but it's the wastefulness and inefficiency that are the issues. At this level you need to be more clinical.1 -

He just needs some time to get used to the division and his teammates. He took a little time to warm up into last season too and he barely had any rest over the summer0
-
Then again he also runs himself into the ground for 65 mins which is one of the reasons Tanto, Leaburn et al can look so good because TC has done the legwork closing down and tiring out the defence.
Gut feel is thats why NJ starts with him.14 -

Just think we (may) have better players now available, that we didn't before, that could offer us more efficiency in front of goal for the majority of the game now.0 -

He’s certainly got the talent and is a fantastic player to have around, and as mentioned he scares opposition players. Him being in the team helps with the overall balance, because teams can’t really double up on both him and Apter without leaving big gaps elsewhere. My concern in both games so far is giving the ball away in dangerous positions for counters. He did it Saturday when Mehmeti hit the bar, and twice against Watford he let the ball go at key points that a better team would have exploited on the break. Which is all about his decision making, if he can get it right we will have a 15-20 million pound player on our hands0

They thought Tyreece was very good.
As did I.

Tyreece is an example of what Rodwell (I can’t work Rodwell out just yet) said the other day when he said what’s the point of having a decent academy if you loan and sign tons of players.
I agree with him about that. The academy is or should be about developing our own guys or there is little point having one.
Miles, Tyreece, Karoo, Zach, AMB, Fullah and others are our USP, or should be,1 -
Campbell is great!
Still needs to gel with kelman and carey. Did look tired near the end yesterday and maybe needs a rest, as adapting to the level?0 -
TC was adapting to League One last year and didn’t fully work that out. 7 goals & 1 assist in 3,500 minutes shows that. Big jump up to the Championship and while his all round speed based game has transitioned well, it won’t be enough. We’ve already seen in two games, there are going to be less clear cut moments to score this season and we need quality to create and take those chances.I hope and am rooting for TC to get that next part of his game.2

TC is still up there in the top 2 most important players in our side - if either he or Jones are missing, we will suffer - coventry not far off that - we have signed some very good players and ramsey is outstanding but TC is fundamental to how we play5 -

He will get a rest until training steps up this week. For me it is useful to read what opposing fans think. Who are the players they fear during the game? The fact that both Watford and City fans feared Campbell should tell us something. Last season he seemed to step up physically and I feel he has stepped up some more in that respect.3

Included in the Jamaica “Road to 2026 Watchlist” along with Bell, Anderson & DixonCoach Steve McClaren:“These are the players we are following closely with the 3rd Round of the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers set to kick off shortly..."

His 'Main Character Mentality' is both his biggest asset, but his biggest downfall too.
Wants to be the one involved in every play, every attack feels like he needs to be the centre of - unfortunately QPRs second highlighted this when he should have laid it to ML.
Still think he would be better coming off the bench0 -

No physical strength is something that can be worked on but lack of bollocks can't be coached I'm afraid.3

Would put it more down to him being expected to have a defensive mindset now, rather than just fully focusing on attacking0 -

I like him a lot but don't feel he possesses that certain level of quality we need from an attacking player in this Divison.we 💯

Works hard out of possession. Doesn’t work hard enough whilst in possession. He has the ability to be the most dangerous attacker in our team but his decision making or final ball lets him down time and time again.
He’s lacking confidence and I think he needs to come out the team and have that impact from the bench. A fresh TC running against tired defenders could be deadly.0 -
Should've been given some competition on that side or maybe a winger with a bit more experience than him to learn from.
Instead he's competing with essentially a striker attempting to play winger and nothing else. No wonder we rely on him so much.3
