  • Inniss somehow doesnt score, peach of a cross into the box from Kirk... Headed wide.

Although wasnt from the resulting corner
  • Stockley starting to play a lot better.

    Spent HT reading CharltonLife ;)
  • Well most of our play seems to be within the defensive half of the pitch, lots of slow possession play and build up but little attacking, resulting in Sutton looking the most positive team so far, we need to up it a bit..
  • Stockley used his feet some more and is now considered the most technical forward we´ve ever had.

Central midfield of Dobson, JFK, Fraser is really lacking some energy and pace.
  • We're starting to click.

Moving the ball faster as Steve Brown said.
  • Leaburn on for CBT.

  • Looking forward to watching him again.
  • Clayden on for Sessegnon
    Surely not injured.
    Tactical I'd imagine.
  • Leaburn on for CBT
  • We’ve been decent since half time.
  • "Stockley, can he bring it under control? No not quite"

How many times will we hear that this season from commentary?
  • Lovely play from Kirk to free Clayden for the cross into the box

Escapes Stockley, and doesnt have enough weight on the ball to reach Leaburn
  • Bit of magic from Kirk there to release Clayden
  • Fraser doing much better further up the pitch, linking well with Kirk!
Could be a partnership to watch this season

Yeah those two combining have been one of the highlights of pre-season so far

    That'll be their knees
Mine sound more like a clunk.

Kirk is looking somewhat like the player we wanted when he signed.
Much better suited to a patient possession style than last season where needed pace and energy in the wide positions.
  • Feels at the moment as though Kirk is doing better linking with Clayden than Sessegnon

    Especially in an attacking sense.
  • This game could go either way, Sutton are still creating chances, as are we now, so could be an interesting last 20 minutes..

    Can’t say I’m surprised - he’s been dead nearly 60 years
Please, not the old JFK jokes again... ;)

He needs a left footer on the overlap, not someone who also wants to cut in on his right
  • Leaburn on for CBT.
    Ouch
