I think I can see what BG is trying to get them to play and it might eventually work, but at present Stockley, JFC and Fraser do not seem to be able to play as he wants. Was concerned about the goalie until he cam off his line to claim the ball which seemed to settle him.
Work in progress - definitely
Oh yes and it is quite boring with seconds of excitement - isn't that how a Swindon fan described his team last season?

It’s also how I’d describe the majority of friendly matches.
We look ordinary and no one is busting a gut in this heat.
So if its 30 degrees on the first day of the season this is what we can expect then and that will be the excuse
No one will be busting a gut today, because there is nothing to play for.
It’s almost like Steve Brown didn’t spend much of that half talking about how the mentality and tempo completely changes once the first game of the season starts .
Good hold up play from Stockley again after receiving a throw in from Clayden
Lays it off to Kirk, who puts a weak cross into the box that is easily cut out - Thats the other issue there - Stockley can do all the good in the world with his feet, but if there isnt an end result... Its not going to be remembered
Nah I'd just say he's behind the others in terms of fitness
Shame he couldnt do 60mins today at the very least
But he was at Fulham. Surely they were getting fit!
Premier League starts later than the Football League... Fulham are only playing their first pre-season game today, so he'd have gone through the usual fitness work no doubt, but he wont have had any match fitness.

- Sutton.
- What colour do they play in?
- Dunno. Does it matter?

Ours appears to be a slower type of build up... Pass and make the opposition chase for the ball, making gaps

Quick turn, and long ball sets CBT away, we get a corner
