If streaming becomes available for all games I might attend 10 games at the Valley Do we want to take my season ticket money and not worry whether I attend the games or watch them on a stream? If streaming becomes available for all games we will have less fans in the ground. Is this good for the game?

For my family it is the only chance to still feel part of the club now. My dad had a stroke earlier this year so going to games is such an effort (we live in Hastings) that a stream (albeit caused by Covid) has brought him some joy, as in this weather i would not risk bringing him to an evening game. There is nothing like being at a game and i'd always choose that first, but lifes circumstances sometimes mean you have to take what you can a be grateful. And it certainly doesn't lessen you as a supporter in my view.
To simply survive as a club we need paying spectators inside the Valley. TS stated this very cleary in his interview with the SLP last Friday.
So many on here either can't go to The Valley, or prefer the free ticket of Saturday's offer, pay a tenner to watch a stream or watch the stream where they don't pay.
Fair play to them but this will do us no good in the long run.
The club needs to try its upmost to get as many local people who currently don't go into The Valley as paying spectators. The current pricing structure is a joke and needs a radical overhaul. But the longer we remain in the EFL midweek games are here to stay so we need to be proactive in getting in as many people as possible to fill those seats.

1. The stream is not as good quality as normal TV. 2 I try to cast it to the TV but that doesn't always work so I then watch it on my phone. 3. It will never be the same experience as going to the match. Going to the match is an activity in itself. The stream means that I spend Saturday afternoon on the sofa. I prefer to get out so choose instead to do the gardening or play tennis on a Saturday. If I'd said to my son on Saturday 'fancy going to see Charlton v Plymouth?' he'd have jumped for joy and asked to bring a friend. As it was, he watched a bit and played on his console a bit. 4. It's true steve. Left the valley at 4.55pm Saturday arrived home at 7.10pm. I live in west Wickham what should be a 50minute train journey. Stream the Saturday games and I'd be watching some games indoors.

I think you misunderstand exactly how IPTB can work. It can, if used correctly (or I guess incorrectly) get you Netflix, sky, virgin, iFollow, pay per view boxing etc etc etc for free.
As for where the paywall leak is, I would guess with iFollow, but I honestly have no idea, but if sky / universal and paramount etc cant stop these services, Charton, the EFL and iFollow don’t have a chance.

Its not legal, far from it IPTV providers are getting closed down but just like most things, one goes down and two pop up. No idea where the money goes and where they are based.
My nephew put me on to this latest one and paid for it and I paid him.
Some people live in a dreamworld !!! Actually having the front to knock fellow supporters who have no chance of getting to the game on a Tuesday evening or every saturday. I get to 1 game a month at the valley ( was there today ) and I bring my misses and 2 kids it's a 5 hour journey if we are lucky then a hotel then 5 hours home. I stream every game I cant get to but u seriously think I'm cheating the club ???? I will be at Morcombe on Tuesday and Shrewsbury on Saturday will you @shirty5 ? Fairplay if you are but dont start knocking fans who due to geographic reasons cant get to the valley mate
The fixtures came out in June which gives plenty of time for people to plan what games they can and can’t attend. If you now live so far away from the Valley, that clearly makes it more difficult for you to get there.
However midweek home games this season have been poorly attended with the AC and West stands particularly sparse. Streaming has an effect on those gates, where people have the option to sit indoors and watch it. When it would be more beneficial to local businesses (Pubs, Take aways, Burger Bars) and the club (Food, the fans bar, Shop) for people to attend especially if the owner wants his Fill the Valley initiative to be fulfilled.
And I wasn’t talking about Saturday games, so unless you live overseas then there is no possible way you can watch it on a steam. Unless it’s one of those VPN loopholes, which the Football authorities will eventually get around to put an end to.
I do buy a ticket for midweek games (I have a season ticket) but as I live in Chesterfield a round journey of around 350 miles there is no way I can or would attempt to take Journey. I buy a stream for £10 via Charlton TV so the club are getting TWO scources of revenue from me. I hope this satisfies all you that are fortunate enough to live close enough.
