That's good bowling. You can't look at the shot in isolation, you have to look at the over bowled at Woakes

Robinson gets a life. When he's raising his bat for his maiden century, we'll remember that moment

Was quite funny when Lyon was being written off halfway through the first Test. He ain't bowling at Indians now

In the 1st Test England managed to lose eight wickets in a session.
If Australia enforce the follow on it will be similar today.
    Not good enough.

As a test side England are absolutely pathetic. Simple as that

New ball under lights. Nope.....The Aussies can do it with the old ball.

    We are 221-9.

    Australia were 221-2.

    What fresh hell is this?

The really dismissive move would be to enforce the follow on
  • Options
Teams nowdays dont usually enforce the follow on, but seeing as the team batting would be doing it under lights I can only see one outcome by Smith here.

Said early on in the first test it would be a lot less embarrassing if half our squad get covid and the series is abandoned. Today hasn't changed my mind.

All out for 236. Burns will be very happy that Australia will bat again

They're not even that fucking good

150-2 to 236 all out a vintage England lame collapse …pathetic pathetic pathetic
it’s test cricket ffs , scoring at 2 an over and leaving the ball 75% of the time isn’t a bad thing contrary to the non purists cluelessness regarding this format of the game .

Aus all out for 60 tonight. 2 days to bat and win the game.

Surprised Australia haven't made us follow on. 17 overs left under the lights, we'd probably have been 3 down before the close.

Australia to bat again. Jimmy and broad could’ve done with the extra rest tbh
  • Options
Proper F you move from Australia this. Pretty humiliating.

This is the most frustrating thing. And outside of openers we are that bad. It's poor discipline with the bat the ball and in the field plus poor leadership selection and decision making that have cost us.

Its not like 2013 when we were like deer in the headlights and blown away.

Need broad to pull his left stride out of his black sock , it’s winding me up
or it’s just the left leg is an ankle swinger

Congratulations england for nearly managing to score half the first innings total that australia posted

It is considering they would've probably bowled us out by the 2nd session tomorrow and had an extra 1.5 days off.

Cheating Aussies swapping the pitch during the interval from a vicious one to a flat one

True. But we could put out a really good team for the 100.

Odd that they're batting again. I can only think they're trolling us.

We were all thinking - oh great we're batting in the floodlights, we're doomed. And now they want to show us how to bat in it.

    We are doomed.

And look how easy it’s been for them. England  in this session look like they have given up.
As Leuth said, this is made all the more infuriating by the fact this Australia team outside of Warner, Smith and Labuschagne in batting terms really aren’t that good.

Is this the worst England team to ever tour Australia?

Certainly the worst for a long time

10 boring overs, which wasn't in the plan
  • Options
It really is embarrassing. They are better than us in every department. We have no idea how to approach Test cricket.
  • Options
You can be sure if we were batting now we'd have lost at least 2 wickets.

we got to bowl for run outs
