I don’t know how Zaha didn’t At least pick up a yellow Wehrmacht he stamped on the defender. I kept waiting for a VAR review as it looked pretty bad, although probably unintentional. But we’re often told, intent doesn’t matter.
Was it a dubious penalty? - Even sweeter when that happens against Palace
It was against palace so my completely biased mind says not dubious at all.
Very similar to the one Norwich conceded. Hand above the head, header on target hit it from maybe a yard away but they have at least been consistent in that no matter how close it is if your hand is raised above the head it’ll be handball, as it should be.

Maybe it's just cause I'm isolating and bored, but it would be better if the kick off times were 6pm & 8pm for these Amazon prime weeks. That way you could watch 2 full games back to back rather than the first half of one game before the next batch kick off
Shelvey in great form last night but Joelinton ! .. damp squib as a striker but in midfield, probably more through necessity than design, a revelation .. Howe might be assembling a decent team by default .. Clark ? .. do that in the last minute to save a point, a hero .. in the first 10 minutes ? .. a big fat zero ..
Spoilt for choice tonight ? .. Merseyside derby after the 1st half of Watford/Chelsea ?

1st half of Watford v Chelsea, then Villa v Man City for me

I though about earlier kick offs as well .. I guess the issue would be getting fans into the grounds as early as 6 .. I like the return to 7.30 kick offs, back to the 'early days' when evening games always started at 7.30 .. when was the switch from 7 30 to 7 45 made and why ? .. anyone ?

During lockdown when no fans were allowed in, they could gear the kickoffs totally around TV audiences.
Mind you this is the PL, so they're also thinking about TV audiences in the US and Asia!

Norwich are unbeaten in four games now, massive result for the latter in a way
