Gillingham have re-signed Max Ehmer after being released by Bristol Rovers

Looks like Oxford are trying to bring on Ellis Harrison from Portsmouth
Ehmer is a decent defender .. we could have done with him (as I typed a year ago, and in 2016 lol)) .. too late now
  • Leyton Orient have signed Omar Beckles from Crewe after he rejected a new deal

Building a serious squad there, although might need a bit of youth as well to come in
  • Interesting one as he comes in from Eastbourne Borough
  • MKD's football is very pleasing on the eye and Russell Martin has a big future ahead in management.

AND the owner has a good few quid which he spends wisely, and their stadium is one of the best in the country
  • Danny Rose finally leaves Spurs to join..... Watford.

Just a shame they can barely fill it... Probably the one club in the EFL whose attendances didnt really change during COVID

Winkleman might have spent a fortune on the stadium, but he hasn't spent that much on the team really. Their one season in Championship (under Robinson) they didn't really go for it (especially considering the fee they got for Dele Alli), and got relegated straight away

They could  have a socially distanced 25% crowd and house all their fans easily

  • First O’Rourke reports they’re after Aneke, now they’re apparently after Sam Vokes.

Busy day for arsenal.  Bid rejected by Brighton for White, they have rejected a bid from Villa for Smith-Rowe and had a bid excepted for a lady striker from Lyon.

Shocking Man United have bid for Trippier!
  • Ade Azeez (formerly of this parish) has signed for Dartford.
Always liked him, delighted he’s gone there 😁

Don't they know we are the ones who sign the Welsh lads! Vokes had a disastrous season last year, but is a handful and think he'd do well in League 1. Not that I see this as realistic mind.

Shocking Man United have did for Trippier!
Arsenal now bidding for Ramsdale, like bloody buses

This could be realistic if Vokes is settled in the area . This is always the factor that we as fans do not know .

However, despite being a Welsh International like Stockley he was born in Dorset . Could Pompey make a move ?

Yeah he’d be a brilliant signing in League One - can’t see anyone getting near the wages he’s on though. He’s only 31 and scored 10 goals in the Premier League only a few years ago - it would be quite some decline!

Do they want to be relegated?

Stoke fans wouldn’t be at all disappointed with that. Despite the Coates’ wealth, they have major FFP problems, and Vokes is probably on a big wage. But how could the Shrews possibly afford him?

Blimey, they're not hanging about rebuilding are they.

Arsenal willing to sell Nketiah for £15M, apparently. Out of contract at the end of this next season and not willing to re-sign.

Hasnt quite reached his potential what with his loan move to Leeds and time at Arsenal

Should have joined us in the Championship instead!!
  • Real Madrid have confirmed that Sergio Ramos is leaving the club...
  • Wigan signing a few players it's good to see as hopefully that means they are over their troubles. Although tbh none of them I'm that bothered about us not signing

Can they afford it after Foden?

The Pompey fans will be furious that they've been pipped by another L1 side again
