That's quite an interesting document, as it shows which clubs are relying more on youngsters.
Wimbledon for example have only 15 over 21s, Leyton Orient and Colchester 13, and Cardiff surprisingly only 18
Sunderland have 21, but it includes Will Grigg which is surely wrong?
We have one of the oldest squads on paper although this won't be 100% accurate as it doesn't include a lot of our youth players whereas it might be including them for other teams.
Shows L1 is a young man's league and our permanent signings made are of a good age to kick on. The average squad age in the champ seems to be a year higher and again the premier league average another year higher.

True, but it's a fair reflection of the age profile of our squad, as we do have a number of over 30s in our squad, with the likes of Watson, Gunter, Pearce and Schwartz being joined by Arter, Souare and Henderson

Henderson's age is the reason we've signed him and I think we are unlikely to have many of the 30 plus at any one time. Pearce, Watson and Schwartz won't be starting that often and Gunter and Souare will be on a "job share" with Matthews and Purrington respectively.
Been told by someone that the club aren’t disclosing elewere’s contract situation either when they have previously been asked, seemed worried about it.
Mmmm, doesn't sound good, the non news surrounding young Deji and his contract, would be very surprised and shocked if this is not something on Thomass priority list to be sorted at the earliest opportunity, of course two sides to every story, and ultimately it is in Deji's hands to accept or decline any offer, what we need is to be seen as progressive at negotiating these things, and getting young players convinced that we are well run and right for their development...

Ben Michael Dempsey was left out of the 22 because he has a middle name (and a very good one at that)
