Would like to see a better target man back up to Stockley but must be of comparable quality - not convinced the free agent striker market would give us that quality required. Suspect we will continue with Davison as back up, see where we stand after Xmas and put some icing on the cake if we feel we can challenge for automatic promotion.2

In his time Leary was the best deep lying CF in the Country. He is also amongst the Addicks highest scorers. Those who regularly saw Leary play were very privileged.
Was Leary the innovator of the deep lyer is open to question. Think Ivor Broadis of Man C might have been the first. Broadis like Leary had wonderful touch and vision0 -

Where’s Ronnie Schwartz? Club needs to make a statement imo. Him being left out for one reason or another is fine, but to not be in the squad, and he has 2 years left to run on his contract.7

Elewere can develop in U23s along with Clayden and Barker.
Dempsey will have to go out on loan. As I am sure there will be handful of others who go out on loan too.
Forster-Caskey not considered until January when he should be much closer to being back fit.
