Sorry just checked the accounts and it was increased to £500k per year as part of the Sandgaard deal. This would have been agreed with Sandgaard as an amendment to the lease agreement and I'd like to think the current terms wouldn't allow him to increase it again beyond maybe adjusting for inflation.addick1956 said:How could he with a signed agreement?2 -

Firstly I haven't said we are going to struggle & secondly, although I dont like the mantra of "wait until the transfer window closes" it is indeed true that you cant assess a squad until that has happened.AndyG said:

I make no bones that I think we are currently weaker than last season as well as believing that we will not be bringing in enough quality to see us promoted, but only a fool would bet any money until all the pieces of the jigsaw are in place.

Two players that really caught my eye last season especially when we played them were Charles & Bishop from Accrington Stanley. Surely that's the kind of club we could negotiate a deal with, maybe sending one of our duds there as part of the deal or Davidson on loan?1

Think even Salford will have a price on someone like Thomas-Asante. Expect it to be pretty steep though, won't be like dealing with Swindon for DJ where they needed the cash3

Yes the final squad won’t be in place until Sept.
But you do all realise there are 5 games before then? I would rather not throw 5 games - and whilst we could feasibly bring in the 5-6 top league one players we need on 31st August, I wouldn’t be that confident that we will then go on such a tear up of the division that we can give the rest of the league a 5 game head start.4 -
