    The fixture completes the pre-season schedule for Nathan Jones' side, who will also face Dartford, HNK Gorica, Wealdstone, Cambridge United and Southend United this summer as part of their preparations for the 2025/26 Sky Bet Championship campaign.

    2025/26 pre-season friendlies:

    Saturday, July 12th: Dartford v Charlton (KO 3pm BST), Princes Park

    Saturday, July 19th: HNK Gorica v Charlton (KO 11am BST), Slovenia (behind closed doors)

    Wednesday, July 23rd: Wealdstone v Charlton (KO 6.30pm BST), Grosvenor Vale

    Saturday, July 26th: Cambridge United v Charlton (KO 3pm BST), Cledara Abbey Stadium

    Tuesday, July 29th: Ipswich Town v Charlton (KO 3pm BST), JobServe Community Stadium

    Saturday, August 2nd: Southend United v Charlton (KO 3pm BST), Roots Hall

    It's because our owners don't want to spend money. 
    It's cheaper to get to Colchester than Ipswich 😉

    The Colchester stadium, although close, is a crap place to drive to and try to park.
    It isn’t as good as Layer Road was in my opinion.
