This thread has gone a bit quiet so thought I'd bump.
I've thoroughly enjoyed the WWE product since HHH took charge & think it's vastly improved, but Roman Reigns Vs Logan Paul........no thanks!!
Is this why Reigns went over in Cardiff? The Saudis wanted that match? Can we make comparisons to David Arquette? Nothing wrong with celebs in wrestling, especially athletes like Mayweather, Rodman, Karl Malone, Lawrence Taylor etc. But for the world title?
It's a bit much for the title, but did you see his matches so far? He's an unlikeable prick, but the dude is a stud in the ring
I have seen his matches. Didn't he lose to The Miz and is now getting a title shot? As I said nothing wrong with athletic celebs, I'll add Bad Bunny who also worked a good match. Main eventing a PPV though? If WCW did this they would receive major criticism.
I don’t mind Logan Paul / Reigns….it’s a novelty match which fits with the Saudi shows. And I actually have a feeling it will be decent.
Paige / Saraya’s return was a genuine surprise, and does feel like a big coup for AEW. I always felt she was a little bit overrated, but no denying she does bring star power.
Not sure what Paige's wrestling is like but I'm a big admirer of her work in other areas. That girl certainly knows how to take a bump!

Her promo last week was dreadfully awkward. Though I do often struggle hearing a British accent try and deliver some tough Americanised wrestling promo. Pac and Regal are two who can do it very well, but I can’t think of many others who can do it without sounding contrived.
First PPV I’ve seen for ages, HHH running creative has got me hooked again, Extreme Rules was fantastic, loved the Bayley v Belair match, Edge v Balor was decent maybe a bit long
I thought the end of it was strange but the rest for first class. MJF is on course for the wrestler of the year with Reigns moving down to number 2.
Glad to see Zayn getting decent TV time. Also i like how the USO brothers have their own personalities. The Bloodline is the beat thing in ages, fantastic booking (bar McIntyre not going over and Logan Paul getting a title shot.)
I assume you've all seen it, but I've watched it 3 times & burst out laughing every time. Jey was doing his best to hold it together & stay in character, but as soon as Roman smiles at him, it's game over
There wasn't really a bum match last night/yesterday in Saudi, say whatever you want about WWE and their weekly shows, but the PPV/PLE's whatever they call them now, are almost always full of great matches.
For someone who has only wrestled a handful of times, and is in reality quite an unlikeable dickhead, Logan Paul is a hell of a guy in the ring.
No doubt he's been helped by working with some of the best guys to be in the ring with currently (Rey, The Miz and now Roman Reigns) and has been training with Shawn Michaels, so they're giving him as much help as possible to get him to that level, but my word has he picked it up quickly!

Completely agree. The PPV was decent & Logan Paul was excellent
Really surprising ending to Raw, which I don't think anyone saw coming
That's all I'll say
I've seen it now. Very odd but not careering ending, although he has been on a downwards trajectory for a while now. Was there any back stage shenanigans other than Vince leaving. The problem with the briefcase is it does put them in a hole. He wasn't ready for the main title.
It's very easy to book week to week once all your ducks are in a row.
It's very hard to regig the ducks if they were lined up for something else.
We are seeing that across both promotions very different reasons.
It feels like HHH is correcting Vince's mistakes & telling storylines his own way which takes time.
AEW just seems to be in freefall to me
I wonder if they will put the strap on MJF? Not much is occurring in that promotion. No storylines that catch my interest compared to Sami Zayn and the Bloodline on the other side.

It's gone from the outhouse, to the penthouse and back in 18 months.
Is John Cena due back any time soon? That'll always get me watching again
I'm convinced he'll come back for a championship run at some point to equal or even overtake Flair.
Apparently WWE have a name in place for who will dethrone Reigns, and if I was writing it, the candidate list would be short anyway.
I'd only have Brock, Seth, Bray, Cena, The Rock, McIntyre, Lashley, Zayn, Owens and Cody on mine, and most of those would need a hell of a build up from where they are now, and Lesnar, Cena and The Rock would be very un-HHH to do IMO.

Deserves his own thread. R. I. P. Inoki.
AEW is a mess back stage. Public twitter spat between Andrade and Sammy Guevara this week. Khan needs to sort it out ASAP.
And White Rabbit was finally revealed
Looks like he's "following the White Rabbit" now, so maybe instead of a cult leader he's now joined a cult? IDK
