If nothing else, this thread is useful as a guide to the Lifers whose opinions can safely be ignored. Just check out the Likes on a PeanutsMolloy post and hey presto, there's a handy list for you.
Talk sense, you’d better listen to his opinions on the Grand National if you want to pay your rent. Definitely don’t listen to his opinion on global pandemics though.
  • The fact is there is no evidence of this experimental drug having saved even one life.Plenty of cases of serious damage though. With herd immunity this whole covid thing would have blown over like it always does(mers, sars, etc). It is a shame that so many were brainwashed into taking it.The only people that benefitted were the drug companies and their political lackeys.
Even though excess deaths are far lower than they were during the pandemic?

You are either trolling or have been brain washed yourself.
  • Had the flu & covid jabs in the last week. For each one I was in and out of the building within a few mins - quick and easy!

Your more fun than our football team.

I accept that you believe there is no evidence of the vaccine having saved a life, but, out of interest, what would such evidence look like? What would you expect to see to show that a vaccine, or any kind of medical intervention, had saved someone's life?

I think also there's a big difference (for most, but not the highly vulnerable) in the situation now and the situation three years ago. Because there are high levels of immunity in the population, largely thanks to the vaccines, neither the spread nor the effects seem as bad. I'll have a shot next time I'm offered, but I'd probably baulk at coughing up £115. That's nothing to do with Americans waking up or Americans being stupid. It is though, a very good demonstration of why public health care trumps private provision every time.
    Spot on

    Fixed for you

  • An excellent speech by Esther McVey MP in the Commons, in the recent debate about the Vaccine Damage Payments Bill.

  • Not really, if a single figure out of a million doses caused a serve/fatal reaction it's safe. Excess mortality indicates it's been a success.

Esther McVey FFS. :/ Surprised she’s got the time to visit the HoC these days with her GB News commitments alongside her slime ball hubby Philip Davies.

  • It is quite amazing how so many people blindly believe everything the government tells them. The same people who foolishly believe the Ukranians are the good guys and Russia the baddies. They are blissfully unaware that Ukraine fought on the side of the Nazis in WW2.They also believe that 99.9% of scientists believe in the efficacy of the covid jabs.Actually it's about 50/50. The ones funded by big Pharma and the Gov't as opposed to the ones not funded and therefore able to give an honest opinion.

What an unsurprising shift further down the rabbit hole.

Just a thought, Germany and the Nazis were pretty synonymous during the war, are they not an ally now? (Calm down all you budding satirists, you know what I mean.)

Excellent. Got to be satire at this point. You must absolutely fucking hate people from Germany, Finland, Italy, Japan, Romania, Bulgaria, Thailand and Slovakia as well if that's your basis for judging others. Of course, saying 'Ukraine fought on the side of the Nazis' is inaccurate and reductive beyond belief, but it's no surprise that your grasp on history is about as good as your understanding of science. Distrusting a group of people based on a stereotypical (and incorrect) perception of them as a whole based on historical decisions made by individuals to tar them all with the same brush and mark them as bad? There's a word for something like that..
Genuinely amazed this thread hasn't been closed yet
  • There was an hilarious incident in the Canadian Parliament recently when the Speaker had invited an elderly Ukranian WW2 veteran to attend the chamber. Zelensky was also in attendance as part of a state visit. The Speaker introduced the Ukrakian veteran as a hero who had fought against the Russians in WW2.A standing ovation ensued from all MPs including  PM Trudeau. It was only later that it was pointed out that if he was fighting Russians then he was on the side of the Nazis.Cue red faces all round and the Speaker forced to resign in embarrassment!

That doesn't mean all Ukrainians fought against the Russians in WW2 or has anything to do with vaccinations.
