Albert and Alfred. It’s like the 1920s all over again.
Except they're Albie and Alfie. They're neither Albert or Alfred.
My mate's dog is called Alfie.

Please don't mention Alfie in the same breath as Dennis Rommedahl.
Alfie is one for the future and nowhere near the finished article.
  • Doughty or Rommadhal ?

Naah, neither as quick as Lenny Glover.

Actually I was only around 17 year's old then and impressionable, so impossible to be sure.

Glover was quick but the modern footballer is much faster and fitter imo.

Mike Kenning also, fast and direct like Alfie. Plus also had a rocket shot on him.

Remember seeing him score some real pile driver goals on the run.

    A well stocked covered end.

    Scott Parker ruining the view
    Lyle waving goodbye at HT.
