99-3. Rashid got Dussen and was on a hatrick (following wicket of Bavuma) not quite sure why it was overturned? Then Ali got Dussen about 3 balls later.

    quite like the pink shoulders.

cos the ultra edge wasn’t available for Bavumas review (which was plumb) but was sort of near the bat
that review is then not considered a wasted review
therefore van der Dussen was informed almost told to review as he came off
and he was given not out cos missing stumps
the right decision reached the wrong way .
the fact the review wasn’t lost when bavuma wrongfully reviewed was not made clear to either team and that’s what led to the confusion
so a muck up on the umpires

edit : that’s what I made of it from what commentators said

Thanks. But surely you have to appeal within the time?

Two mistakes. Firstly neither team were informed that the SA review hadn’t been lost. Then Dussen was told he could review when he had nearly walked off. Poor umpiring although the right decision reached.

They didn’t know that a review was available, poor communication from the off field umpire who would have prolly been the only one that knew the SA review was still in tact
  • Great to see Moeen and Rashid bowling again together

    140-3 off 22 chasing 257 to win.
Comfortable win if we don't lose too many wickets.

Denly's going to lose us this match getting out when he did.

Being top scorer is irrelevant unless his name's anything but Denly.

Curran shouldn’t have gone for his shot either.

Absolute thriller of an U19 WC final looks like being ultimately settled by the rain...in favour of Bangladesh! Gripping stuff

Was a somewhat unnecessarily ‘interesting’ last half an hour, I had a nagging feeling for a while there, that we might be going to throw it away.

Looked a bit naughty at the end, I think some of the Indian players didn’t take kindly to the Bangla players celebrations , a bit of aggro over a flag as well but the commentators nutdowned it and the cameras moved away from it

Tbf India's player conduct during the game and towards the umpires had been an absolute disgrace. Got to rise above it and win gracefully, but still

Only caught the end cos I’d watched England match , that’s a bit shameful to be acting up already at such a young age
