I’m usually so focussed on our players but Curtis was one I definitely remember from our games v Portsmouth last season because he was annoying (unlike Green who I couldn’t remember).
Despite being Portsmouth’s top scorer he’s a winger rather than an out and out striker. Perhaps ideal for Bowyer’s diamond where the strikers drift out wide.
Might be another made up rumour, but this is the sort of signing that is realistic. Big money signings would be exciting to see but it would mean players coming in on much bigger wages than the rest of the squad, which can’t be good for team spirit.
In this transfer window, we must utilize the 8 loans allowed in the EFL; with 5 allowed to be in the 18 man squad. So Kayal,Field and Leko unfortunately are terminated loans which leaves Cafc with ? Gallagher, Cullen, Green and Amos. So unless there are anymore lossed in the Medical room that leaves 4 loanees to fill the 8 places. These 4 need to be quality and I would keep Amos in case Dillon gets injured but not put him on the bench, but let Maynard-Brewer deputise if the injury occurs in a match. This free's up a place for another loan player. At any one time at least 2 of the 8 will have slight knocks and won't be up for selection. ( As it's Cafc could be 6!)
So 4 loanees and 2 permanents with one marquee signing: EG Toney from Posh if Taylor departs. The best scenario is Taylor stays but we get another goalscorer to be included with Bonne which would leave as strong up front as opposed to the side that played the last 45 at Swansea.
No time for a honeymoon for Matt Southall and ESI: talking stops and action starts.

Arguably the worst rumour ever, this has zero chance of being anywhere near accurate.
Then decide on a player that is completely unbelievable.
Good one lads!
Curtis was born in London. He is the godson of Chris Coleman, who played for and managed Wales.[25] Curtis supported Arsenal while growing up, but also watched Crystal Palacegames.[
Hell, with our luck, if he gets out of bed he's nailed on to get an injury.
Oh, hang on........
: -)
As long as he's a decent footballer and wants to play for us.
That's all that matters.

Look our for him in our games, he’s the 11 who tried to tackle Lapslie and scored the header at The Valley:
