In the last 16 months, England have reached a football World Cup semi final, won the cricket World Cup and are now in the RU World Cup final. I blame Brexit 😀.
Kiwis were shell shocked. I’ve never seen a team defend that dominantly against that calibre of opposition. They had no answers and their only points came through a lapse of concentration.
Brilliant performance, watched via a buffering feed on the cattle train (15 stops) I booked to Brum.
All Blacks were visibly shocked by the intensity and quality of our tackling today, the myth (one quite deserved) around NZ was shattered, we gifted them thier only points. Very proud watching that
Watch a fair amount of Rugby and genuinely can’t think of a better individual performance than Itoje’s. He was an absolute rock from start to finish. Tuilagi was a close second for me and got us going.
We could and should have won by 20-25 points really but don’t matter now. We are the favourites but safe to say anything can happen agree what just happened.
Think we can beat either but Wales would be more interesting.
I want South Africa
I like the fact we're the only North Hemisphere team to win the World Cup and wouldnt want to see us basically fuck it up ourselves by giving it to the Welsh
Didn't want to share my pessimism earlier because I thought the all blacks would win by 1 point Because of big decisions going against us! The big decisions did go against us; The Curry obstruction was correct But Jamie George being penalised by the South African TMO despite still having his hand on the ball was harsh.
No weak links today But Underhill, Itoje and Curry were Brilliant. 19 turn overs against NZ is unheard of.
I said early last week, that Our WC winning team peaked in 2003. This younger squad won't peak for another 2 years. Sublime performance, and I liked the subdued celebration by England.

Top teams celebrate winning Finals.
Itoje, Underhill, Watson etc incredible performances.
When did NZ last not score a single point from their own play?? Ever?
Just pray it’s SA now as I could not face losing to Wales.
