Attention turns to Huddersfield v West Brom on Friday night

Huddersfield get nothing from their games and we only need a point to stay up
    how does that work?

    We're on 47-pts, they're on 48-pts we've got the better goal difference

Also means we need Hull v Luton to end in a draw

Not worried about Barnsley. It's Luton who are the biggest danger below us

If Huddersfield win then Leeds will have won the league before the final day. Which might suit us tbh

If Leeds win tomorrow / Sunday and West Brom win on Friday then they're five clear so they can take the title this weekend effectively
  • Our best hope might be Sheffield Wednesday getting a 12 point deduction.

Not really, as at the moment if Huddersfield lose both their final games, one draw will keep us up

That’s not happening. If they were getting deducted 12 points it would have happened by now.

Huddersfield are at Millwall on the last day, as if our friendly neighbours are going to do us a favour.

I reckon Barnsley will win it. Everyone is discounting them saying they are playing top 6 sides & will lose.

They're still in with a chance of the playoffs

Just watching, final day of the season: Leeds v Charlton

Leeds will be so pissed from winning the title they'll be kicking the ball in their own net in confusion!!

It wont matter because Bows will still go defensive & throw it all away.

There is absolutely no scenario in which a Huddersfield win suits us. We want them to lose both games.

Leeds turn up on the pitch swilling from champagne bottles. We cling on for a nil nil draw

Can we still hope the teams below us pick up points and drag others into the relegation fight.

At this point all we can hope is the teams below us (technically including Wigan) stay below us. For teams above to get dragged in we'd need to get some points of our own in the last two games.

I don't get why anyone has ever wanted this.

Not relevant now as our failure to pick up points have gifted safety to the likes of Brum and Stoke

Can imagine that had we won by Bonne's goal the whiners wouldn't be so harsh.

Instead because we conceded he's not good enough despite doing his 'bit' by scoring.

I don't either. If you have 3 teams below you then you don't  want then picking up any more points at all.

Technically 4 teams with Wigan and we can stop them getting points this weekend. Still in our hands.

First though, we want a Leeds win tonight and a West brom win tomorrow night.

Completely forgot its Leeds v Barnsley tonight. Whats the chance Leeds choke again? We will surely know tonight if our luck is running out.
Hard to pick ourselves up after last night but while we still have a chance im not giving up yet. If Leeds and West Brom do their bit then we have the chance to put things right and beat Wigan(going on form we dont stand a chance i know but this league is just mental to predict).

Remember that Wigan only drew 0-0 with Barnsley less than a week ago - there is still hope! They had less possession, only 5 shots and none on target. Come on Lee, get the boys up for this. We CAN win this!

We can't just keep waiting on other results on relying on every other team south of 15th place to lose. Its laughable.

The point of being in a relegation fight is you win your games. Then worry about what the others are doing.

The fact that we have been utter guff when we should be rolling up our sleeves and fighting for every single ball is why we wont be in this league next year.
