I heard West Ham were gonna recall him in January but his injury put an end to it Source : west ham taxi driver
West ham taxi driver to his taxi mates.
"Your never guess who I had in the back of my cab" ?
"Harry and Megan"
"No"
"Ant and Dec"
"No, I had oohaahmortimer, who said, you can get the Charlton away support in the taxi, so I told a little Porkie and said Cullen would've been recalled if not for the injury."
"Did he believe you"
"Yes, he even gave me a good tip"
"He gave you a pony ? "
"No, he said, go the shortest way next time as 80% of Cabbies don't"
at the end of the article : UPDATE AS OF 15:12 14/1/2020: Cullen’s injury is not as bad as first thought, I just received an update to let me know he was taken out of training but only for precaution, he did pick up a slight knock in training today but he seems to fine! PANIC OVER!
Think West Ham's option to recall him ran out yesterday. So let's hope he is fit to play soon.
Sounds like some good news at last, we have a decent player for the rest of the season who will help us push up the table when and if he ever regains full fitness but well done ESI for securing him another feather in their cap .
Rumour has it that apparently Cullen is waiting for Bowyer to sign his contract before he signs a perm deal with us
Would love for this to be the case - any info on where that rumour might have emerged? Makes a lot of sense especially as they can no longer recall him now
I mean I wouldnt claim to have any insight or to be able to see the future. I am simply saying I'm sure I read hes had a couple weeks training with West Ham before returning to us so he wont need weeks of training with us to be ready.

Stand down - just that VitalCharlton site making up stupid rumours again (who knows why, presumably just clickbait).
Thank God.

Make no bones we need people getting into the team before its too late - so hopefully not a 2 months to get back up to speed scenario
