Hate it when people lob flares forward etc, proper winds me up cause then you've got people involved who want no part in it, if you're gonna do it (you shouldn't) at least do it amongst your mates4

Funny old game innit?
I over slept so missed the first 30 mins. Seeing the teamsheet and the, apparently, weak midfield I was surprised we weren’t already behind.
Watched the second half and it was one way traffic. When we conceded such an unlucky goal I was expecting we might lose 3 or 4 - 1 but instead, somehow, we managed to dig out not just a point but a win.
Immense effort and, watching back the highlights, despite Blackburn’s apparent dominance all but probably one of the best chances fell to us and their goal we scored for them so in many ways it was an excellent away performance.
Pearce MOTM for me. Gallagher looked good. Albi too. Taylor there when it mattered again too and showing preseason goals aren’t what matters. Still really need those signings, but this game shows budget isn’t everything and sheer hard graft can win you points.
Up the Addicks and strap in for the ride everyone. This team won’t be giving up just because the owner is a lunatic, and neither should we fans.5 -

Too scared to say we’ll be involved in a relegation scrap for most of the season.
We’re so fucking good we should walk this league and anyone who thinks otherwise hasn’t a clue .
Seriously that’s a brilliant win and we are above the scum , what’s not to like !

Only six teams won at Ewood Park last year and only two of those were before Christmas, to the eventual top two teams.
Blackburn 0-2 Sheff Utd (2nd) 3rd October
Blackburn 0-1 Norwich (1st) 22nd December
Blackburn 0-1 Bristol City (8th) 9th February
Blackburn 0-1 Middlesbrough (7th) 17th February
Blackburn 0-1 Preston (14th) 9th March
Blackburn 0-1 Stoke (16th) 6th April12 -
Great win !!!
On the evidence of yesterday's game, we will send a few opposition managers to therapy for bewilderment symptoms. Teams will not fancy playing us.

Well you guys robbed us blind today. But in all fairness we didnt deserve anything. Our defense needs an overall, we may have the tools to score some goals, but even the simplest errors and we look like bambi on ice. Fair play and hope your season pans out nicely.

A thoroughly enjoyable away day. The atmosphere on the top tier was brilliant all bar one nervy 10 minutes non stop singing and drumming. I think the team will need that kind of loud support every match to get the points needed. It really felt like the incredible support at Wembley was just continuing. On the pitch it took us a while to get going, There were lots of holes in midfield (unsuprsingly) particularly in the middle, Lapslie was covering tons of ground to deal with them, harassing whoever was on the ball. Unlike many on here I thought that Dkiksteel had a bad start , looked a bit nervous and also wasn’t giving his usual 100 %. It also took us a while to start getting the ball to Johnny Williams once we did the first goal wasn’t long off. I thought that Blackburn looked like a good team and the jump in class from Div 1 to Championship was very very clear.
I felt that JFC still has a long way to go and was lacking match sharpness, he also seemed to be playing wider then I remember ( but I might be wrong.). The only crap part of the first half was the injury to the little boy from the fire cracker, it was completely randomly thrown , there wasn’t even anything going on on the pitch. It was such a stupid idiotic thing to do, and why do people in the vicinity not point them out and give them a mouthful?
In the 2nd half we absorbed lots of pressure and captain Pearce was immense. I think Sarr is still suffering confidence jitters from the Wembley mistake , I’m sure he will return to his best if supporters show a bit of patience. After the equaliser the team did brilliantly to hang on and showed good discipline holding the line in defence. Gallagher coming in did make a difference and he showed some good moves and earned the corner which led to the goal. I think he will be an important player for us, giving us fluidity moving between midfield and attack. The 2nd goal heralded a top tier party and from that moment we were in charge and should of had three. We played down the clock really well . Albie also made a difference coming on and looked self assured. So on to the next game , let’s make sure the Valley is rocking for the Stoke match.20 -

We scored all three goals, Sure, you dominated possession but we were more clinical, defended better and looked comfortable weathering your fruitless attacks.
Thanks for sharing your view though I do always enjoy reading how opposition sides felt on the day.
*Edit having watched your video too.
1. Our centre backs stopped our keeper being busy.
2. Your keeper made a couple of fantastic saves... A 5 seems harsh seeing as he was beat by a clever lob pass to an unmarked back post and a clever flick from an unmarked striker.
3. Your defence and lazy finishing cost you yesterday.9 -
I really wasn't expecting any change out of Blackburn and hoping inevitable defeat would at least be respectable. With my son we followed the game updates and were really made up with the win.
Fair play to all making the journey, what a start6 -
Looked a proper away day that one. Gutted I couldn’t go but we’ll chuffed for all of you who did. We’ll need good away support this year and days like yesterday just encourage people to do more.11

I suggest if your defense needs an overall you visit a site that supplies workwear.
As far as the game goes, we robbed no one.3 -
My gob is well and truly smacked. Had a stream on in the bar, but it was so ropey I gave up. Kept jumping forward and backwards like a drunk kangaroo. In the 10 minutes I watched (which took 15) I think we got the ball in their half twice. Brilliant win!0

looking through the BBC 'in play stats' y/day, as one does, it was noticeable how many sides, especially away, got a result with less possession than the opposition .. modern football is about 'on the break and score' .. defences are often so well organised and determined, that 'pressure' is absorbed, if not easily, then comfortably. It takes skill and genius on the break or well organised free kick/corner routines to get behind defences to create openings and to score0
