So 21000 available once you've taken out the closed blocks. Minus those available at that time 650ish. By my calcs that means around 3500 season ticket seats will become available tonight.Callumcafc said:
If true that's pretty poor as means that half of season ticket holders didn't manage to book their usual seat. Caveat: they may have wanted to sit somewhere else or not be coming.0 -
You're really ramming your point home there Addickted!Addickted said:No one there either at noon when I was picking up my haemorrhoid ointment prescription from the ticket office
There will be plenty left.0 -
May have been mentioned already ( I have read the whole thread ) but surely the 3 closed blocks will be opened up?
seems ludicrous not to but not surprising under this owner!0 -

I'll admit it has, though I think some people are getting ahead of themselves with talk of a sellout. I reckon low 20s, which is still good.Callumcafc said:Demand took some of you off guard hasn’t it? We ain’t a small club and if we get to Wembley we will easily sell our allocation.
Regarding Wembley, if we get there, I'm not so sure. Did we sell out in 1998? The Sunderland fans that day thought that we hadn't, but information was harder to come by in those days.
I think we sold out but they got a slightly bigger allocation, but that is just from memory which could be wrong1 -
Suspect they will be but not until next week.Phil said:May have been mentioned already ( I have read the whole thread ) but surely the 3 closed blocks will be opened up?

I reckon there will be over 4,000 seats available tonight once reserved season ticket seats get released.0 -
They may wait a bit longer (probably will) if 3,000 odd extra seats go on sale 9am tomorrow (unsold S/Ts).Phil said:May have been mentioned already ( I have read the whole thread ) but surely the 3 closed blocks will be opened up?

No, all the figures put out are tickets sold in the home end.Henry Irving said:@Ollywozere does the home ticket sales figure include Donny fans?
So assuming Donny sell out the Jimmy Seed were already at about 20k0 -
Having met you both I don't think there's a lot of age difference between you tbf 😉.blackpool72 said:

Fingers crossed for a surge in away sales 2mo. Would love for us to bring at least 2000 up to Donny to get behind the team5
-
Sunderland only 17,800 so far.0
-
I misunderstood
thought Donnys 2k sold was for the Valley match not their home tie. That is poor1 -
The stadium has a 15k capacity which probably won’t get tested so unless we sell out our allocation it can be a pay on the day game for them so there’s no rush to get a ticket just yet for the home fansTaxi_Lad said:I misunderstood

A lot of people only become eligible tomorrow morning, expect the system to be busy!cabbles said:Fingers crossed for a surge in away sales 2mo. Would love for us to bring at least 2000 up to Donny to get behind the team1 -
C’mon that’s not the right spirit is it. I don’t have a clue what their normal home gate is but they are hardly a big Club are they? Now if Sunderland or Portsmouth had only sold that number you’d have a point but it’s Donny Rovers for gawds sake.Chris_from_Sidcup said:
I know it was yesterday but that is absolutely pathetic.Addickted said:"Close to 2,000 Rovers fans have already secured their place at Sunday’s exciting play-off game against Charlton Athletic after a strong opening day of sales.
Just under 2,000 tickets had been sold by the time the Club Doncaster Box Office closed at 4.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday".
Seems that they're not as keen as us.
6 days before the game and they've sold less than 2k? And they class that as a strong day of sales?!1 -

So just under 400 have been sold since 5pm0
-
Agreed - this is obviously before the release of unsold ST seats.
However, seeing as the demand has been far higher than expected and still 10 days before the match, the Club must open the closed blocks for sale in both the East and West stand.

Don’t think Donny will sell anymore than 8,000 for their home game and i would think at best sell 1,500 for the game at ours.0
-
Must be over 17,000 now.0
-
Given their home gates and the fact they will need to take a day off work to join us on a Friday, I think 2,000 is pretty impressive - we might not take that many there the way things are going...Covered End said:

Donny had 10,500 home fans for last week's game v Coventry.WhenIwasLittleBoy said:Don’t think Donny will sell anymore than 8,000 for their home game and i would think at best sell 1,500 for the game at ours.
So they should get more than 10,500.
If we take 3,800 it will be nearly full.2
