Official thread for Charlton tickets sold v Donny: SOLD OUT OF ALL THE BLOODY TICKETS.

You started a Ticket Office thread and I told you directly under your post when it was open :-(Baldybonce said:
I got there at 9.45 this morning on the assumption that as a working day and with two huge games coming up the ticket office would be open. Others were arriving all the time including a lady who'd driven from Rochester.Covered End said:Olly, if Baldybonce is correct, there appear to be fans queuing at the ticket office every day for tickets.
Is there a clear sign to tell fans that it will not be opening until 15th, 16th & 17th for home tickets only ?
If not would it be possible for someone to put out a sign, displayed where it can be clearly seen ?
PS I would expect the ticket office to be open. But personally I wouldn't drive up from Rochester without checking (bearing in mind what has happened to the ticket off opening hours in recent years).
I wouldn't even drive there from say Eltham without checking.
I do find it peculiar that people who are internet savvy don't check.5 -
It's all too exciting..Covered End said:

Careful Olly, showing that kind of diligence in your work, even for things that aren't really your responsibility, you could be CEO by August.Ollywozere said:
That was for away tickets! We'll put out an updated figure for home and away at close of play today.Covered End said:
It's doubtful as Olly said they would update every 1,000 sales and we've heard nothing since 15,000 was announced.clb74 said:No way have we sold 20000
On the signage at the ticket office, I've been working from the training ground, so unsure, but will get someone to look at it.

Clearly our 27000 capacity isn't going to be enough, perhaps we should ask if we can use the London Stadium for this match instead...13

Demand took some of you off guard hasn’t it? We ain’t a small club and if we get to Wembley we will easily sell our allocation.1

We're getting the large LED sign changed to give more specific information (eg. closed to personal callers until Wednesday, May 15th).Covered End said:Olly, if Baldybonce is correct, there appear to be fans queuing at the ticket office every day for tickets.

Large's seat will be the only one left :-(0 -
This is the kind of message we want to send to LB and the squad.
Keep it up, fellow fans.1 -
I ain't olly (I'm much better looking).Henry Irving said:@Ollywozere does the home ticket sales figure include Donny fans?
But it's Charlton fans only in these figures .2 -
Lifers.
Come general sale for away leg on Thursday can I buy as many as I want?

Anyone know many have Pompey and Sunderland sold so far for their home legs? If those numbers are true it is pretty impressive0

No, all the figures put out are tickets sold in the home end.Henry Irving said:@Ollywozere does the home ticket sales figure include Donny fans?1 -

Absolutely - and also a strong message to any potential new owner. This club has the players, the coaches, the fans and the stadium all ready to take off. It's all here, just waiting for the right people to take over. Soon.

So about 70% sold so far? A good effort so quickly, but I reckon we can sell this one out. If the first leg is entertaining and one side leads by the odd goal that could spark some late sales.Ollywozere said:

I know it was yesterday but that is absolutely pathetic.Addickted said:"Close to 2,000 Rovers fans have already secured their place at Sunday’s exciting play-off game against Charlton Athletic after a strong opening day of sales.
Just under 2,000 tickets had been sold by the time the Club Doncaster Box Office closed at 4.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday".
Seems that they're not as keen as us.
6 days before the game and they've sold less than 2k? And they class that as a strong day of sales?!

If there are hundreds left you would think common sense would prevail.
But I wouldn't bank on it.0 -
Well if you know you'll never sell out I suppose there's no rush.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

"But there were ugly scenes on the final whistle when both sets of fans entered the field and had to be separated by police and stewards after a couple of fights broke out." Not seen on the video mind you.

I'll admit it has, though I think some people are getting ahead of themselves with talk of a sellout. I reckon low 20s, which is still good.Callumcafc said:Demand took some of you off guard hasn’t it? We ain’t a small club and if we get to Wembley we will easily sell our allocation.
Regarding Wembley, if we get there, I'm not so sure. Did we sell out in 1998? The Sunderland fans that day thought that we hadn't, but information was harder to come by in those days.0 -
Thanks, some old, ugly bloke said that but no one believes him : - )Ollywozere said:
