  • Back among the goals today with a brace v Tranmere.  Odds of 16/1 for that helping to keep me in credit at skybet so far this season. The hat-trick was great value at 100/1 and no doubt shorter next time out.
  • 2 goals yesterday, 3 for the season so far
  • Another goal that makes 4 for this season. Missed another difficult chance, and lost a ball in hold up play that resulted in a goal against. Overdone the pink hair, but well on course for 10/15 goals this season if he stays fit and plays.

If there’s any ill to be felt it should be the club towards him.

I've not once seen a journalist attempt to hold him to any level accountability for what happened
That is how you know nobody, associated with Charlton FC, has interviewed him.

  • He felt no ill will?

    Oh that's all ok then.
  • No excuse for not playing the games in July anyway, as the SPIRIT of football contracts is that they cover seasons and half seasons, and the games in July were part of the season he was originally contracted for.

What an absolute c***...but we all knew that anyway I guess!
  • BUt wHaT aBOuT cHrIs Soly? DIdnT hE dO tHe sAmE fInG?
  • Since refusing to play for Charlton Taylor has done  virtually nothing on the pitch unlike his colleague who also refused to play David Davis,  who,  after a sticky period,  has now  landed a dream move to Kidderminster Harriers.
Somehow missed this at the time. My hometown team. Used to play football in the car park as a kid and would have to climb over the gates to retrieve stray ball. Lee Hughes started out at the Harriers too, another fine upstanding member of the footballing community.
  • Lads, I know he's hardly flavour of the month, but can you give the c-bombs a rest? Ta.

  • Simply Gaslighting the reporter, who probably thought he would get the lowdown on his desertion, he clearly didn't. Never mind, Taylor's career is coming to an end and he's got to find a way to make a living for the rest of his life, just don't put 'committed professional' on your CV Mr Taylor. Now let's close the thread, it's simply giving oxygen to his notoriety.
  • Agreed that he has to find a way in life going forward but in earning thousands of pounds a month for many years he wouldn't give his shirt to my mates little girl because it would cost him £50, whilst climbing into a Mercedes worth a fortune.
  • Why are you giving this absolute weapon any time

The very definition of a a pricks prick

  • Obsessed!!

He said: “If anything, at the time of my signing, fans were pretty underwhelmed, and I can say that without any thought of hesitation.

“Before things started, fans would have probably thought: ‘Is that all?’

“Charlton are a big football club, so I can’t imagine signing the AFC Wimbledon striker at 28 was their view of going for it and having a real go at the league."

It seems like a long time ago, so my memory might be letting me down here, but I seem to remember his signing being well received at the time?

Only have to go back to page 1 to find out
