The bellend meter has gone into overdrive on Twitter. One idiot referring to him as a “prima donna”, and another having a moan about the fact that their kid has his name on the back of his shirt etc etc.
Its as if the man is at fault because he did well enough for another club to be interested in him. He’s not completely thrown his toys out the pram the way some players often do, but one tweet trying to softly get a message across for people to show some patience and some of the fan base start calling him all sorts.

Only passing it on as this is his thread on the forum.
could understand some of the tweets if by kids, but these are by fully grown men ffs, fathers some of them.
every club has them its not exclusive to us - but ultimately he is a good player ( i dont call him a hero yet as that takes a while to gain ) yes he should be the top/one of the top earners.

Cannot understand why anyone would give him grief - it's his career and no-one else's. He's not made any comments on social media about his intentions and this crappiness towards him is based on press reports about offers which have supposedly been received and rejected...
